After 11 seasons on the air, Bravo has announced that they planned to reboot Vanderpump Rules with a brand new cast of SURvers and bartenders working at Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant, taking the show back to its roots.

Although Lisa Vanderpump has said that she already has a whole lineup of SUR employees ready to get in front of the cameras and has called the brand new lineup "new and refreshing," Bravo has yet to announce who will be in the reboot or when it will air. Despite this, some fans think that SUR might have shown the cast off themselves -- and that two VPR alums might be on their way back to the show.

SUR might have just showed us our new Vanderpump Rules cast

When Vanderpump Rules started airing, the cast was full of SURvers, bartenders, and other employees of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant.

By the time Bravo announced trheir decision to reboot the series, none of the cast had any real connections to the restaurant anymore. Having moved on as podcast hosts, owners of their own restaurants, and Broadway or reality TV stars, it was no surprise that Bravo felt like the cast had strayed too far from the roots of the show.

So far, the only thing Vanderpump Rules fans know about the rebooted cast is that it will be pulled from the pool of people working at SUR, just like where they show started. Despite the fact that they haven't shared any definitive updates on the casting, when the SUR Instagram account shared a group photo of all their SURvers, fans started wondering if they just got a first look at the show's new cast.

Unfortunately, Vanderpump Rules fans will have to wait until Bravo officially shares any news to know whether or not the season 12 cast is in this group photo. But, since Lisa Vanderpump has shared that she already has a group of SURvers ready to be in the rebooted show, it seems pretty likely that at least some of the people shown in the photo the restaurant's account shared will be on the show.

The new cast isn't the only VPR rumor taking the internet by storm -- it looks like there might also be some OG members of the cast that are coming back for the reboot.

Will Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix be involved in the reboot?

Although Katie Maloney says she was already planning to leave Vanderpump Rules before the reboot was announced and Ariana Madix has been largely moving away from reality TV, fans believe the two of them might not be quite as done with Bravo as they seem.

In January 2025, a film crew was spotted at Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney's restaurant, Something About Her, and fans started wondering whether that could mean that the two of them are being filmed to be featured on the reboot of Vanderpump Rules. Meanwhile, other fans think this might be another spin-off like The Valley that follows Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix at their own restaurant.

Since Katie Maloney says she was already on her way out of the show and ready to move on to new things, it seems likely that the two could be filming the pilot for their own spin-off in the hopes that Bravo will put it on the air.

Only time will tell what will become of these rumors. As Bravo fans know all too well, the network has no problem keeping updates and announcements on their shows hush hush until they're ready to share, so it may be a while before they make any big announcements about who's in the Vanderpump Rules cast, but fans will definitely be eagerly awaiting the reveal of the new cast.

Until then, all 11 seasons of Vanderpump Rules with the original cast are currently streaming on Peacock.
