Is Lisa Vanderpump coming back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
OK Magazine has exclusively reported that they were told by a Bravo insider that for RHOBH season 15, Bravo is looking to shake up the cast by bringing back a beloved series alum.
According to the publication, Andy Cohen has been trying his best to convince Lisa Vanderpump to make her return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Bravo reality series that she left after appearing on the first nine seasons.
Lisa Vanderpump currently has a lot on her plate with Vanderpump Rules being rebooted with a brand new group of SURvers and Stassi Schroeder joining the cast of Hulu's Vanderpump Villa, but OK Magazine says that the insider claims that this is the perfect time for Lisa Vanderpump to go back to RHOBH.
Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still currently airing on Bravo, so it's way too soon for the network to officially be making any announcements about who will be holding a diamond next season. But, if what this insider claims is true, it seems like next season might have some interesting changes.
While this would be good news for fans of Lisa Vanderpump, the Bravo insider speaking to OK Magazine acknowledged that it wouldn't be such a good change for one specific longtime RHOBH star.
This would be bad for Kyle Richards
If there's any truth to this rumor, it could spell bad news for Kyle Richards who is already having a tough season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Not only is she in the midst of her separation from her ex-husband, Mauricio Umansky, but she's also feuding with her former best friend, Dorit Kemsley, and the return of Lisa Vanderpump could spell even more problems for Kyle Richards.
Although Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards used to be close, the two of them had a major fight before Lisa Vanderpump exited the show and Kyle Richards recently shared that she had absolutely no plans to rekindle their friendship.
Even the Bravo insider speaking to OK Magazine said that the news would be bad news for Kyle Richards. The insider told the publication, "This would likely upset Kyle [Richards] as Lisa’s last stint on the show saw the pair at odds, with Kyle being kicked out of Lisa’s house by Lisa’s husband, Ken [Todd]."
This isn't the first time Lisa Vanderpump has been rumored to be returning
If this story feels like deja vu to any Bravo fans, it's likely because this isn't the first time it's been rumored that Lisa Vanderpump was going to be coming back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
In 2021, The Sun reported that Lisa Vanderpump was allegedly in talks to return to RHOBH but that it was negotiations over her salary per season that were holding back her return after "Puppygate." According to the sources at the time, Lisa Vanderpump would only return to RHOBH if she was making more money per season than her fellow original cast member and former bestie, Kyle Richards.
Whether or not Lisa Vanderpump comes back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be seen in time, but if the rumor is true, then one thing is for sure: season 15 is going to be dramatic for Kyle Richards.
