Kyle Richards has been on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the very start and through all the drama and major life changes she's experienced, she's remained a feature of the show. But, she recently revealed that there was one moment in season 14 that nearly made her leave the show for good and now, she's sharing that it wasn't the first time she considered stepping away.

While speaking to Bravo's Hot Mic podcast, Kyle Richards opened up about the moments that were nearly her final straw when it comes to appearing on the reality series.

Kyle Richards hasn't left RHOBH yet

In fact, she's already talking about housewives she's hoping will return for season 15 when it starts filming. But just because she's ready to see where life takes her and not ruling out staying on the show right now doesn't mean that she's never considered it in the past.

According to the reality star, there have been a few of times that she's thought about leaving the show -- and they might not be what fans of the show think.

"You would think it would be season 1 in the limo," Kyle Richards said in reference to a first season fight that she had with her sister, Kim Richards. Although she and Hot Mic host and producer Alex Baskin joked about the fact that she threatened to leave after the fight in the limo, they both said they knew Kyle "didn't mean it" and wasn't actually going anywhere.

Season 4 was the first time she (really) considered quitting

According to the housewife, the first time she really considered leaving the show was during season 4 when Yolanda Hadid and Lisa Vanderpump brought up tabloid rumors that Mauricio Umansky was cheating on her.

She said on the podcast, " Yolanda [Hadid] and Lisa [Vanderpump] were both like, ‘You mean there’s no smoke without fire?’ I was like, ‘OK. I see where this is going.’"

She said that the rumors being brought onto the show gave her anxiety and that she was thinking about how she "can't live like that" if it means continuing to have her family life and rumors about her marriage be a central part of the show. "I texted under the table, and I said, ‘Bring my car around. I quit. I’m done with this f---ing show,’" she said on the podcast about the fourth season.

Season 5 had another rough spot for Kyle Richards

Fans will remember that the trip to Amsterdam in season 5 had an infamous dinner scene that ended in tears, broken glass, and apparently, almost ended Kyle Richards' run on the show.

A big part of that fight centered around Kyle Richards' sister, Kim, and Kyle revealed that she used to feel like she wasn't able to stand up to her family and really speak her mind during fights with them, which lead to her feeling like her "hands were tied."

"And people who knew me well, family and whatever, knew that I was the kind of person that wouldn’t speak up, so they took advantage of that, and it got worse and worse and worse," she said about the fight in season 5 that nearly made her quit the show. But, she revealed that she's grown and now, even her family wouldn't be able to get the best of her in a fight like that one.

"The new me, I would not do that again," she told Alex Baskin on the podcast.

Despite considering leaving more than once, Kyle Richards said that the RHOBH crew is "woven" into her life and called the crew her family, sharing that after so many years of being on the show, she couldn't imagine not having the film crew follow her around.
