Divorce is no foreign concept to many Bravolebrities, but one is taking her time with her breakup.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards initally announced that she was separated from her longtime husband, Mauricio Umansky with whom she shares four daughters, in July 2023. Despite the fact that it's been well over a year since the pair initially announced their breakup, they haven't formally filed for divorce yet.

Is Kyle finally ready to file for divorce from Mauricio?

Kyle Richards spoke to E! News about why the two of them have been in no rush to make their divorce official, despite being very public about the fact that the two of them are no longer together.

"I think it's been more of a psychological thing for us and for our family. We've been getting along and there was no pressure from either side that we needed to do that," Kyle Richards explained after saying that the two of them "haven't felt the rush" to file for divorce.

The reality star previously said that Mauricio was initially hesitant to share the news of their separation publicly, but that Kyle didn't feel like she could hide the major life change from the camera crews and producers that were following her during filming.

"They’re in my home with the cameras. They know everything. Even if I wanted to try to hide something, which the only reason I was keeping it a little under wraps in the beginning is because Maurcio wasn’t comfortable and I was trying to respect his wishes," she explained of her initial reasoning behind going public with the separation.

Despite the fact that the two of them are separated, Kyle Richards says that there's no bad blood between the two of them. She said that she doesn't take advice from the other housewives on how to handle this stage of her life because "every separation is different" and for her, it comes in the form of remaining close friends with Mauricio. She said, "We are the best of friends, we love each other, we want the best for each other, we co-parent together."

What about Morgan Wade?

Rumors about Kyle Richards moving on after her separation from Mauricio Umansky have been swirling ever since the reality start seemingly started to get closer and closer to country star Morgan Wade. Although Kyle has recently opened up about her "evolving sexuality," she says she's decided to stay quiet about Morgan Wade.

Speaking to Us Weekly, she said that she realized that the musician didn't sign up to be on reality TV the way she did and that she doesn't think it's fair of her to speak about someone who didn't sign up to be included in the show, despite having guest appearances on it.

She said, "I'm not here to speak on anyone's behalf but my own, especially someone who's not signed up to do this show and doesn't want to be spoken about on the show. So that puts me in a very different position."

Still, that isn't going to stop her from sharing details of her own life. She told the publication, "What I do address is about me personally and my journey and what I'm going through and where I am at and just not addressing her in particular, because it is just not fair to."
