Andy Cohen is tired of being asked when The Real Housewives of New Jersey will come back. Now, while speaking to Us Weekly, he's given hopeful viewers a simple but disappointing update on when to expect the show back.
RHONJ won't be back any time soon
After a tumultuous 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey that left the show without a reunion special to end the season off, the future of the show has been up in the air. It's been unclear whether the series would return for a 15th season with the full cast, have a small cast shakeup or be rebooted entirely, or even just put on pause indefinitely.
Unfortunately for fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it's going to be a while before the show comes back, but it sounds like Bravo does have plans to bring the series back. This means that while there's still no news about the cast, it hasn't been put on pause yet... It's just going to be a while before it returns to the air.
Andy Cohen is fed up with people asking when the show will be back and told Us Weekly that it's going to be at least 2026 before the show returns to Bravo's airwaves. He told the publication, "You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year, so everyone stop asking. And I keep saying you are going to get nothing, so stop asking!"
Although this isn't the solid update on the show's return that fans have been hoping for, it's better than nothing. Even Dolores Catania said that she wasn't sure if the show was going to come back, sharing with Us Weekly that she is a "realistic pessimist" who thinks "every year" that the show is done and not coming back.
Although this isn't great news for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Andy Cohen has recently shared that there are other beloved shows in the Real Housewives franchise that are coming back much sooner.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is scheduled to be released in early 2025 and according to Andy Cohen, the new season is "outstanding." On his Sirius XM radio show recently, he shared that he had been watching the final edits of the new season and said, "I’m so excited for people to see this, and they’re going to see it early next year."
While Andy Cohen says Bravo is just "taking [their] time" with the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it's good to hear that other Bravo shows are making progress.
While The Real Housewives of Dubai was put "on pause" indefinitely, Vanderpump Rules has been rebooted and Lisa Vanderpump has good things to say about the new SURvers that will be making up the cast and The Real Housewives of Miami has a brand new cast member.
