Bravo FanFest was in Miami this year, which is fitting since the event was home to a major announcement for The Real Housewives of Miami. While other mojito holders including Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Alexia Nepola, and Kiki Barth were in attendance, Andy Cohen announced that there's a brand new cast member that will be joining the series for its seventh season as a full time cast member.

Who is Stephanie Shojaee?

RHOM newbie Stephanie Shojaee is a Miami native and a real estate developer and she works alongside her husband, Masoud Shojaee. Together, the two of them run Shoma Group, a real estate company that was founded in 1988 by Masoud.

Although Shoma Group is known around the world for their massive real estate portfolio, Masoud Shojaee has kept his personal life mostly out of the spotlight over the years -- but it seems like that might be changing now that his wife has been cast on The Real Housewives of Miami.

Stephanie is a self-described workaholic and she spoke to MSN about her life as a real estate developer. She said, "[My job], it's the actually buying the land, putting up a high rise, 800 units; or [building] rental communities and building a whole leasing team and developing units. There's a lot. It's a lot of fun."

Even though the two of them are definitely busy with their real estate empire in Miami, Stephanie said that she and her husband like to unwind and get away from their work when they can. She told the publication, "I like to unwind by going to the culinary scene because my husband and I are huge foodies."

When will The Real Housewives of Miami season 7 air?

RHOM was just renewed for a seventh season in May 2024, so there's no official air date or trailer for the series quite yet.

The series had been previously cancelled in 2013, but brought back by Peacock in 2021 with a freshly rebooted cast and most of the cast from the rebooted series will be back. Along with adding a brand new cast member, Dr. Nicole Martin has announced that she's stepping back from her role as a main cast member to being a guest for the seventh season.

Dr. Nicole Martin spoke to PEOPLE in September 2024 about the fact that she's been seriously struggling with postpartum anxiety and said although she loves the rest of the RHOM cast, she had to step back and be a guest for this season instead of a full-time cast member because she doesn't feel like she's "in the headspace to film a full season of reality TV."

Since it was only announced that they were filming beginning in September 2024, fans will definitely have to wait until sometime in 2025 before the new season airs and fans can get to know newbie Stephanie Shojaee more.

But, fans can get their RHOM fix in the meantime by watching the previous six seasons, streaming now on Peacock.
