Bravo is keeping reality TV fans busy this winter with new seasons of returning shows and now, a brand new Utah-based reality series set to premier on December 4, 2024. Capitalizing on the success of shows like The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Bravo is returning to Utah for their newest series, Sold on SLC.
According to E! News who were given an exclusive look at the trailer, the show is being sold as a mix between The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and Million Dollar Listing, meaning that viewers can expect to see all the drama of the upper crust of Salt Lake City with the cutthroat drama of the luxury real estate world.
The trailer introduces us to Jennifer Yeo, CEO of Presidio Real Estate, who brags that her team sold over a billion dollars worth of homes in the Salt Lake City area last year -- all thanks to her "Jen Commandments," a play on the Mormon Ten Commandments.
"We follow the Jen Commandments," Jennifer Yeo says in the trailer. "Thou shalt always be selling. Thou shalt always be professional. Thou shalt not steal my agents. Thou shalt never let emotions ruin a deal. Thou shalt never speak unkindly of another agent.
It seems like not everyone is on board with Jen's standards for her agents because the trailer shows her accusing Sarah, one of her employees, of being "shady" and Sarah cheekily reveals in a confessional that she's "pretty much sleeping with the enemy."
As viewers might bee expecting, the trailer definitely features a healthy amount of the Mormon faith that the area the show will be set in is known for, but it also seems to be bringing some of the major drama that The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives have gotten reality viewers used to.
Plus, the trailer features a surprise cameo from one of Bravo's Salt Lake City-based reality TV veterans, Lisa Barlow from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It's unclear how much crossover there will be between these two shows, but being set in the same city means it's no surprise that at least one housewife appeared in the trailer.
Sold on SLC premieres on Bravo on December 4 at 9/8c with episodes streaming the following day on Peacock. Check out the trailer below and get ready to experience "The Jen Commandments."
