Ariana Madix is one of many Bravolebrities to go from Bravo to Broadway and she's not done after one role. She made her Broadway debut in January 2024 as Roxie Hart in Chicago and now, she's got her sights on another Broadway show that she says she'll do anything to star in.
While speaking to PEOPLE, she joked about how she would even "rhinestone the costumes" if it meant that Mamma Mia! would make a return to the Broadway stage.
"My first show I ever saw on Broadway was Mamma Mia!, so, if Mamma Mia! is coming back to Broadway, I would love to be a part of it in any way, shape or form," she told the publication about the show, which ran from 2001 through 2015 and was nominated for five Tony Awards, along with getting two movie adaptations in 2008 and a sequel in 2018.
Although she may be known for her time on Vanderpump Rules and her major breakup drama with Tom Sandoval, Madix's stint on Broadway came as no surprise to the people who knew her personally as this reality star was initially trying to find fame on Broadway before she got a job at SUR.
Ariana Madix studied musical theater at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and was working as a bartender in New York City between going to auditions for different productions when she made the move to Los Angeles and landed her job at SUR which eventually turned into a role on Vanderpump Rules.
Whether or not she lands another Broadway role, Ariana Madix told the publication that she'll just be happy to keep working, no matter what she's doing. The reality star turned Broadway newcomer told PEOPLE that taking risks and going for things she wants is one of the most important things she's learned as he's gotten older and it seems like she's applying that to all facets of her life.
"Any level of theater -- I enjoy it so much. So, if I could perform for the rest of my life, I would. Hopefully, I have that opportunity," she told the publication about her dream of continuing to work, whether it's on Broadway or in TV and movies.
