Lisa Vanderpump asks if "we know" the father of Kristen Doute's unborn baby
Former Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute recently announced that she was expecting her first child with her fiance, Luke Broderick.
But, it seems like her former boss Lisa Vanderpump missed the exciting news because on Access Hollywood's Housewives Nightcap podcast, she questioned the pregnancy and made some seriously shady remarks about Kristen Doute.
According to Lisa Vanderpump, she "never talks" to Kristen Doute. When the topic of Kristen's pregnancy came up, Lisa Vanderpump shadily asked, "Who’s the father? Do we know?"
Lisa Vanderpump went on to say that she's "not very involved" with The Valley, the Vanderpump Rules spin-off series that Lisa serves as a producer on, and had no idea that Kristen Doute was engaged, meaning the fact that fans do know who the father of her baby is was a total surprise to her.
Scheana Shay and Kristen Doute react to Lisa Vanderpump's shady questions
Fellow Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay had some thoughts about Lisa Vanderpump's shade toward Kristen Doute. On her Scheananigans podcast, she said that she thought Lisa Vanderpump questioning her pregnancy and engagement was so "unprofessional."
Scheana called Lisa's joke "shady" and specifically called out the fact that Lisa is a producer on The Valley, the show that Kristen Doute joined the cast of following being fired with Stassi Schroeder on Vanderpump Rules. Although Lisa acknowledged that she's not actively involved with The Valley's cast despite being a producer, that wasn't enough for Scheana.
On her podcast, she said, "Like you know who Luke [Broderick] is. You know he's a cast member on this show. This season, they get engaged. And if you don’t know who someone is on a show that you're producing, then why is your name in the credits as a producer?"
She went on to call out the fact that Kristen's pregnancy comes after a struggle with her fertility and called Lisa's joke distasteful even though she feels like Kristen is only on the receiving end of Lisa's shade because she's stood up for herself against Lisa in the past.
Fans on social media echoed this sentiment, pointing out the fact that Stassi Schroeder was welcomed to Vanderpump Villa after being fired for the same event that Kristen Doute was, but while Lisa Vanderpump was "sad" that Stassi had been fired, she was being shady toward Kristen's happy life update.
She questioned Lisa's refusal to just be cordial with Kristen and said, "Even if you don't like someone, it’s just kind of distasteful on this topic of motherhood. How hard is it to say I wish her best?"
Kristen Doute fired back at Lisa Vanderpump's comments too, but she kept it simple and kept moving, presumably choosing to focus on being happy for her pregnancy and engagement to Luke Broderick instead of giving too much energy to Lisa Vanderpump.
On her Instagram story, she shared a screenshot of the headline with a clown emoji and put the song "Full of S--t" by Pitbull as the audio.
Nick Viall calls Lisa Vanderpump "embarrassing"
It's not just her comments about Kristen Doute's pregnancy that have Lisa Vanderpump in hot water with other reality stars, though. On his own podcast, former Bachelor star Nick Viall has called out Lisa Vanderpump for what she chose not to say about another Vanderpump Rules situation, calling her silence on it "embarrassing."
Following Kathy Hilton's annual Christmas party, DJ and Vanderpump Rules alum James Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence, with the police report alleging that he "threw" his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, on the ground.
While Kristen Doute and Rachel Leviss, two exes of the reality star, have spoken about their own abusive experiences with James Kennedy, Lisa Vanderpump has been entirely silent about her former employee's behavior.
On The Viall Files, Nick Viall made his feelings on James Kennedy's arrest no secret when he said "f--k that guy" and took it a step further when he called the fact that Lisa Vanderpump has been silent about his "disturbing" arrest "embarrassing."
