While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Erika Jayne said that she thinks season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' drama between Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards is "so much worse" than the "pantygate" scandal from season 7 of the series.

According to Erika, "the stakes are higher" because in the midst of their friendship fallout, both Dorit and Kyle are in the middle of going through majorly public separation from their respective husbands. Because Erika herself has also gone through a divorce in the public eye, she says that she's giving Dorit "a pass" for her behavior this season.

What was Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley's "pantygate" drama?

It's been seven seasons worth of blowout fights, explosive drama, and even more than one marriage breaking down since Dorit and Erika's fight in season 7 that was dubbed "pantygate," so fans that have forgotten which fight this was can be forgiven for not remembering which dramatic saga this was.

Back in the seventh season, when Dorit Kemsley was a new housewife and Lisa Vanderpump hadn't left the series yet, Lisa Vanderpump was having a "white party" at one of her restaurants. In order to avoid pantylines in the expensive dress she wore, Erika Jayne chose to wear nothing underneath her dress, which she didn't think was going to be a problem.

For both Erika Jayne and Lisa Vanderpump, it wasn't a problem -- both of them made jokes about the fact that she wasn't wearing any underwear under her dress and that's where the conversation should have ended. And it this wasn't a Real Housewives show, it likely would have.

Unfortunately for Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, got into a discussion about whether or not Erika Jayne purposely flashed PK.

Whether or not it happened quickly becomes irrelevant as the disturbing conversation spirals until PK refers to Erika being "available for the world" behind her back and then says he didn't tell her to stop because he "didn't mind the view."

From there, Dorit Kemsley tells multiple people that Erika Jayne had purposely flashed PK, whether that was actually what happened or not. As she's telling people this story, Dorit comes up with the idea to gift Erika Jayne a new pair of panties and handed them to her in front of the rest of the cast with a quip about how everyone had seen her "pretty little p***y."

Viewers find out then that Dorit and PK were completely wrong and Erika had no idea that anyone could see up her dress at the party, meaning that she definitely hadn't done it on purpose. When Dorit was asked why she thought spreading that rumor and picking out that gift was acceptable, she accused Erika of serving herself up "on a platter," so of course PK was going to look.

Despite the fact that Dorit refused to apologize to Erika or her husband, Tom, on the junk boat back in season 7, she's since said that her "biggest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills regret" was the "pantygate" fight with Erika, so it seems like she's come around to realize that she was in the wrong in this one.
