Bravo is really bringing the drama with this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and even though Erika Jayne isn't directly involved with the drama, she has some opinions on where her co-stars stand this season, including why she thinks Dorit and Kyle's feud this season is worse than the season 7 "pantygate." Plus, she got a little shady with some of her fellow housewives who she feels don't "reveal their lives."
Erika Jayne says Sutton and Garcelle "do fan service" and don't "reveal their lives"
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Erika Jayne had a lot to say about where she stands during this season of RHOBH and shared some shady thoughts on her co-stars. At one point in the interview, she Erika says that if she can show everything on TV, she feels like the rest of the cast should be too.
The interviewer asks if she knows things about their personal lives that hasn't been on the show and while Erika says that's "not necessarily true," she says, "I'd like for Sutton and Garcelle to reveal their lives."
According to Erika, the second longest-running housewive on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, "nothing is as it appears" and that "at times," Garcelle and Sutton specifically tend to focus too much on bringing fan service to the show and behaving in a way that the viewers want them to instead of getting real with the cameras.
Why Erika Jayne says the stakes are higher in season 14 than ever before
According to Erika, her role in this season is her being caught between Dorit and Kyle's feud since she's friends with both of them.
When asked by Entertainment Tonight about whether or not their feud is on par with season 7's "pantygate" -- the blowout fight in which Dorit accused Erika of purposely flashing PK and Dorit eventually snarkily gifts a new pair of panties to Erika -- Eirka says that "it's much worse."
According to Erika Jayne "the stakes are higher" because this season features Dorit's separation and the added pressure from being on TV while going through such major marital struggles means that she's giving Dorit "a pass."
Erika points out that she and Kyle have both been in Dorit's position with their own separations being aired on previous seasons of RHOBH, so she can understand why Dorit is in such a "tough place," crediting her emotions running high for the reason that the feud is so much more serious than the one between Dorit and Erika herself was.
Does Erika Jayne think she cursed Dorit and PK's marriage?
At a live taping of Watch What Happens Live at BravoCon 2022, Erika was asked who she thinks will be the next couple on their way to "splitsville" and she named Dorit and PK.
Because the two of them announced their separation in May 2024 and although the two of them haven't officially filed for divorce yet and according to Dorit, that's not a conversation they're even having, ET couldn't help but ask if Erika Jayne thought she cursed Dorit and PK's marriage.
According to Erika, the answer is no.
"I was asked a shady question, I did not want to answer. I was getting booed. And then I walked out there and gave a shady answer," she said in the interview and said that she didn't take credit for the fact that the pair split up. As someone else who has also gone through a divorce on RHOBH, Erika says she "feels for" anyone who finds themselves in that position.
