The Real Housewives of New York City's Racquel Chevremont recently updated Bravo fans about the upcoming 16th season. After a controversial and unpopular season 15, RHONY will return but things may look a little different.
"We're all still waiting to find out what's going to happen," the former model told E! News at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, "but I believe we're going to start shooting again soon."
Who will return to season 16 of RHONY?

Expect a shakeup when it comes to the cast of season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York.
Season 15 had barely finished when a casting notice appeared online looking for new recruits. “It’s that time…Come and get your apple,” the casting company wrote on Instagram, adding that they were on the hunt for residents in Brooklyn and Manhattan who have an “organic connection to someone on the cast.”
When Racquel was asked if every housewife would return, she admitted she didn’t think that would be likely. "If I had to guess, I'd say probably not everyone," she said before adding that fans can expect to see "maybe one or two" new women next season.
"I want all the women to return, I love them all. We're really good friends with Erin [Lichy] and Gabe [Lichy] and Sai [de Silva] and Jenna [Lyons], so I would love for them to return."
One person we don’t expect to see return is fashion designer Rebecca Minoff. Racquel admitted that she had already left the show after one season, after failing to want to talk about her Scientology and her private life.
Rebecca announced her exit on Instagram in February. "As much as I have learned along the way with this franchise and fans, I want to reprioritize the things that mean the most to me: designing, giving back, supporting women and raising my family," Rebecca's statement explained.
"I am truly grateful for the experience, the friendships and the fans that have been part of this RHONY chapter. Time to turn the page," she added.
Will Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan return to season 16 of RHONY?
Two names that reality TV fans are wondering will return to the Bravo franchise is Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan. Their Puerto Rican fight forced filming to stop and caused ripples that was felt throughout the whole show and its subsequent reunion.
Although the duo made up in the reunion, some fans feel like a show with the two together will evidently end in another row. While Ubah forgave Brynn, her fellow RHONY co-stars are less sure.
Sai also offered an update on where she stands with Brynn after a fan on Instagram asked if the pair were still friends. “We haven’t seen one another outside the show since 2023,” Sai replied in February.
Meanwhile, Jessel told Page Six in an interview that reconciling with Brynn would require a “lot of work.”
“I think [our relationship is] definitely broken. There’s going to be a lot of work that has to be done to get her trust back, and I think a lot of the girls feel that way,” she explained.
The Real Housewives of New York is available to stream on Peacock.
