Throughout this season of RHONY, Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan have been butting heads in a major way and as fans know, this all came to an explosive head during the season finale when the drama was taken to a new level.

Now, fans are questioning whether or not Brynn Whitfield should be invited back to next season and she's sharing where she stands with her Real Housewives of New York co-stars.

What happened between Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan?

Brynn Whitfield and Ubah Hassan have been fighting all season with some fans criticizing the fact that Brynn has been quick to try to paint Ubah in a bad light throughout their fights. From mocking her accent to calling her an "angry Black woman," Brynn has been on the receiving end of a lot of fan backlash for the way she's been treating Ubah throughout the season -- and many fans think it's for good reason.

In the season finale of The Real Housewives of New York City, things heated up when, while on a cast trip to Puerto Rico, Ubah Hassan implied that Brynn Whitfield might have gotten her role on the reality TV show through getting intimate with a casting director or other Bravo exec.

Although this was a harsh accusation to lob at her co-star, it was fairly on par with the drama and petty insults thrown at each other throughout the season.

Still, Brynn Whitfield felt like it was a particularly personal dig and confided in the other girls that she had told Ubah Hassan about her sexual assault, so accusing her of using her sexuality to get ahead in her reality TV career was both personal and cruel in Brynn's eyes.

Things took a twist when it became clear that, despite what Brynn Whitfield had told her co-stars, Ubah Hassan actually had no idea about the fact that Brynn had been assaulted and the other girls reacted to the fact that it seemed like Brynn was lying.

"I just want Brynn to tell me when she told me that, so I can remember before I deny," Ubah Hassan said during the episode and her co-star, Racquel Chevremont, said she felt like Ubah's reaction was genuine and that no one would have been so serious about denying remembering the conversation if it had actually happened.

She went on to say that while she believed Brynn Whitfield had been assaulted, she didn't believe that she had told Ubah Hassan about it, meaning there was no way that Ubah could have made that petty accusation on purpose to hurt her. Racquel said, "To be completely clear, I am not doubting [Brynn Whitfield's] experience, but it’s clear to me her story -- it’s not lining up. I checked out within a couple of minutes, because I realized she was lying."

Is Brynn Whitfield on good terms with her RHONY co-stars?

With her co-stars taking Ubah Hassan's side in their argument, fans were left wondering what's going on with the cast now and whether or not Brynn Whitfield will be invited back to the next season of RHONY. The biggest question of all is why Brynn seemingly lied about telling Ubah her story, only to weaponize it during the finale to turn the cast on Ubah.

According to Brynn, she definitely believes she did tell Ubah and says that perhaps Ubah didn't "clock it" during their conversation because, according to Brynn, it was during a phone call before BravoCon and she could understand if Ubah had just forgotten about the conversation.

In an interview with Rolling Stone about the RHONY finale, Brynn Whitfield said, "It's not right to assume that everyone remembers everything that you say all the time and then hold them accountable for that. I know for a fact that I said it, but when someone's screaming into the phone, the other person might not necessarily hear them."

She went on to tell the publication she thinks that accusing her of lying to try to make Ubah look bad was "disgusting" of her co-stars and says that she felt like they were being disrespectful when they confronted her about it.

As far as her relationship with her co-stars, viewers will have to wait for the RHONY reunion special to see how Brynn and her co-stars interact -- and whether or not they can repair their friendships. While fans have to wait to see the reunion to see how they get along after the finale, Brynn says she's waiting right alongside fans to see whether or not she'll be brought back to the next season.

She told Rolling Stone, "You don't know if you're renewed, you don't know who comes back or any of these things."

The two-part RHONY reunion special starts on Bravo on Tuesday, January 28 at 9 p.m. ET. Catch up on all the season 15 drama streaming on Peacock.
