This season of The Real Housewives of New York City has definitely had Bravo viewers divided. While some fans have enjoyed the "leaky pigeon" storyline, Brynn Whitfield opening up about her personal life, and the addition of fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff while other fans (and even former Bravo stars) have felt like it was boring and over-produced.
Although the reboot has left fans divided, there's no denying that there are some major questions that fans need answered at the season 15 reunion of RHONY.
1. Does Brynn Whitfield regret mocking Ubah Hassan's accent so much?
One of the most controversial moments in this season involved Brynn Whitfield and her co-star Ubah Hassan. Multiple times throughout the season, Brynn Whitfield mocked her co-star's accent during arguments and referred to Ubah Hassan as an "angry Black woman" stereotype because of their fights. Many fans called Brynn out for this behavior and now, some fans are wondering if it will be mentioned at the reunion, especially since Brynn Whitfield will be sitting right next to Andy, and if she regrets the way she spoke about Ubah Hassan.
2. Why did production let the prank storyline go on so long -- and promote it in the trailer?
One of the bigger storylines in this season of The Real Housewives of New York City involved Rebecca Minkoff, Erin Lichy, and Brynn Whitfield joining up together to prank the other cast members by making them think that Rebecca Minkoff was pregnant in order to try to suss out the "leaky pigeon" of the cast. As fans quickly found out, this highly promoted storyline was nothing but a prank and it lead many fans to wonder why the producers allowed the prank storyline to go on so long and why it was promoted as if it was real.
3. What are the cast members' relationships like when the cameras are turned off?
This is the second season of the RHONY reboot, but many episodes still have viewers saying that it feels like the cast members only recently met and are still getting to know each other. Although Sai De Silva said that the cast just needs to "get [their] footing" in order to really make a good show, it feels like a big problem is that the cast members barely know each other and have no relationship with each other when the cameras are off.
4. How does Rebecca Minkoff feel about the backlash for her beliefs?
Rebecca Minkoff is a newcomer to RHONY as a friend of the housewives. The fashion designer is open about her involvement with the Church of Scientology, a belief system that she's answered questions about on the show. Even though Rebecca Minkoff is an open book when it comes to her involvement with Scientology, it's garnered a lot of backlash from fans and some fans hope that at the reunion, she'll respond to how she feels about the viewer backlash about Scientology.
