Vanderpump Rules might be on pause as it reboots and finds a new cast, but fear not Bravo fans The Valley returns for its second season soon.
The VPR spin-off returns to the suburbs with new and old faces ready to cause trouble. With divorces, engagements and pregnancies, season 2 looks like it’s going to be an exciting ride for everyone involved.
Ahead of the April premiere date, Janet told Access Hollywood the show is the best on Bravo. “I’ve been a Bravo fan for so long,” she told the outlet. “And just seeing, knowing what happened this summer and then seeing our trailer, I feel like it’s honestly going to be one of the best seasons of reality TV ever.”
The Valley Season 2 Cast Returns With New Faces

The entire Season 1 cast are returning to The Valley. Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Michelle Lally, Jesse Lally, Nia Sanchez, Danny Booko, Kristen Doute, Luke Broderick, Jasmine Goode, and Zack Whickham can be seen in the recently revealed trailer.
The second season also sees some new faces. Melissa Carelli, Aaron Nosler and Benji Quach join the reality show cast as friends. The new trio of beautiful faces are the significant others of Jasmine, Michelle, and Zack, respectively.
Although new to The Valley, Vanderpump Rules alums Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Brock Davies will also make appearances throughout the series. Don't expect too much of Lala in the upcoming series. "I wouldn't say I'm a big part of it. I pop in. I'm very pregnant at that point in time. We will see what makes it. It just made sense," she told the Juicy Scoop" podcast.
The Valley Season 2 Rumored Storylines
So, what can we expect from season 2 of The Valley? The cast has spoken out about some of the plots and character arcs audiences can expect from the reality show's sophomore season.
The second season is likely to follow Jax’ split from Brittany. In the trailer, Brittany highlights their upcoming struggles handling the split. "Jax and I are still co-parenting," she says, referring to their son, Cruz. "And then all hell broke loose."
“I’m excited to show a different version of myself, you know, there’s a lot of different things,” Brittany told Access Hollywood.
Jax also faces the reality of splitting from his wife, as he begins to struggle with his mental health. After filming, he admitted to being addicted to cocaine and went to rehab to seek treatment for it. "I'm a great father, terrible husband," he said to the camera in the recent Bravo trailer.
"I’m trying my best to be amicable. I want us to say, the marriage didn’t work, but we’re great parents and have a beautiful son. Nothing else matters,” he recently said, when asked by Us Weekly about the status of his relationship with his estranged wife.
Kristen and Luke announced their engagement in September 2024, and viewers will be able to follow their journey down the aisle on the show. Although the couple is now expecting their first child, the trailer shows that the pair is still having trouble in paradise.
Michelle and Jesse are still struggling to stay amicable post-split. "I have evidence that she's sleeping with a billionaire for $1,500 a night," Jesse is seen in the trailer telling Luke.
“There’s some crazy ups and downs, and we had hoped that we would be able to go into it and be that cool couple that got divorced, and everything’s great,” Jesse revealed.
"It just didn’t happen that way. So you’ll see it kind of unfold. You’ll see some sides being taken — it’s not easy."
While Janet and Jason’s relationship seems strong, Kristen has heard rumors. "When Jason goes out, he takes his wedding ring off," she alleges in the trailer. Janet explained to Us Weekly that things are still tense between her and Kristen.
" We were very close for many years and there just was so much that happened all at once that it really felt like it was like, ‘OK, I need a break for right now.’ I never say never. And I love Kristen. I want to see her do well, but we kind of got to a point where we were like, ‘We need a pause for now."
Kristen is “excited for people to see a shift in Jesse in Season 2,” she revealed during an appearance on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. “I mean, there’s no mistake, like, I’ve been much more friendly with Jesse,” Kristen added.
While Kristen felt Jesse played the victim card in the first season, the former VPR alum believes he has dialed his ego “down a few notches” while filming for Season 2.
Season 2 of The Valley premieres on Tuesday, April 15 at 9/8c on Bravo. Stream episodes the next day on Peacock.
