The Real Housewives of New York City star Brynn Whitfield recently shared that the money she's been making on the RHONY reboot goes straight to her DoorDash budget.

On the April 14 episode of Jason Tartick's Trading Secrets podcast, Brynn Whitfield opened up about how much money she makes per season of Bravo's Real Housewives of New York City and how much of that money goes straight to having food delivered.

Brynn Whitfield says she makes more money at her consulting job than on RHONY

When asked about the money that she makes as a main cast member on The Real Housewives of New York City, she said, "It's my DoorDash money. I spend more on DoorDash per week than what I made for a season."

According to Brynn Whitfield, who joined the rebooted cast of The Real Housewives of New York City in 2022 and found herself on the outs with the rest of the cast after the explosive end of season 15, the majority of her income doesn't actually come from being a reality TV star. She explained on the podcast that she's making as much per hour as a lawyer does in her consulting job, meaning that the Bravo paycheck is extra money to her.

"I make as much as a lawyer does per hour," she told Jason Tartick on the episode of the podcast, estimating her total pay to be about $600 per hour.

This comment is likely interesting to fans of RHONY since exactly what Brynn Whitfield does for work is something that she's been extremely vague about since joining the cast -- even to the point of her fellow RHONY stars questioning what she does for work.

Brynn Whitfield is the co-founder of a New York City-based dating app called Hoppy and her Instagram bio lists that she is also the CMO of the app. Along with being part of the team that runs Hoppy, Brynn Whitfield has said that her background is in "marketing and communications" and that she works as a consultant in those fields, but has remained somewhat vague in exactly what that means.

"Basically, they call me for advice or to work on a deck or create a campaign idea, and they pay me very well for it," the Real Housewives of New York City star said and explained that she got to this point in her career fater successfully building up her resume with major companies to the point that she is "able to step back [and] not be in the day-to-day office."

Is Brynn Whitfield coming back to The Real Housewives of New York City?

The season finale and season 15 reunion for The Real Housewives of New York City didn't exactly go over well for Brynn Whitfield, so it's not surprising that fans are questioning whether or not she'll be back for season 16.

Bravo hasn't shared any updates on the cast or filming for next season just yet, but the rest of the cast has been distancing themselves from Brynn Whitfield sing season 15 came to a close, so it seems like the future of the show might be shaky.

Things really came to a head at the end of season 15 of RHONY when she accused co-star Ubah Hassan of weaponizing her history of sexual assault against her, only to have Ubah Hassan reveal that she actually had no idea that Brynn Whitfield had dealt with sexual assault and was not trying to use her trauma against her.

The rest of the cast sided with Ubah Hassan and felt like Brynn Whitfield had lied in order to make her co-star look bad and the rift in the cast has seemingly remained since the finale aired.

Only time will tell whether or not Brynn Whitfield is going to lose her DoorDash budget.
