Bravo hasn't yet started filming season 16 of The Real Housewives of New York City, but producer Andy Cohen has shared some small updates as far as what the next season of the series might have in store for viewers -- including why there might be a cast shakeup coming.

On his Radio Andy radio show, Andy Cohen revealed that the network hasn't made any solid decisions about season 16 of RHONY's cast just yet and said that it's possible that some of the cast members from season 15 might not be returning.

"I can’t tell you because we haven’t fully decided yet," Andy Cohen said on his radio show when asked about which of the RHONY housewives would be returning for season 16. Considering the series already lost Rebecca Minkoff at the end of season 15, the series definitely has room for at least one more housewife -- and it's possible that more could be being replaced too.

Considering the cast's major fallout with Brynn Whitfield at the end of season 15, it's possible that fans may be saying goodbye to her ahead of season 16, too. But does that mean that they're going to look to another Bravo series for new cast members?

Is Andy Cohen considering adding Lindsay Hubbard and Paige DeSorbo to RHONY?

"I did bring one of them up in a meeting," Andy Cohen responded to the question of whether or not these two Summer House stars could be making the jump to The Real Housewives of New York City for season 16 of the series. Despite having brought up one of the names, Andy Cohen also said that the network hasn't yet "seriously" discussed the possibility, which may be because they're still making decisions about the existing cast.

But, he did go on to elaborate on just which Summer House star he had been talking about bringing to the RHONY cast -- and that answer likely won't surprise fans who are familiar with the two of them.

"First of all, I don’t see Paige at this moment in her life saying that’s my next step and Lindsay I think has been kind of posting about it and I think I can’t say anything more about it," Andy Cohen said on his radio show.

Since getting pregnant and having her first child, many fans have felt like Lindsay Hubbard no longer fit in with the concept of the Summer House show and cast anymore, so her moving to The Real Housewives of New York City would be the next logical move.

Meanwhile, Paige DeSorbo and her Southern Charm ex, Craig Conover, recently broke up and it was obvious that much of the strain on their relationship prior to the breakup came from the two of them being in very different points in their lives. While Craig Conover seems ready to settle down, get married, and have kids, it's obvious that Paige DeSorbo isn't in that place yet and so her staying on Summer House instead of moving to The Real Housewives of New York City makes sense.

Fans will have to wait and see what decisions Bravo makes about the cast of RHONY but for now, episodes of past seasons are available for streaming on Peacock.
