Fans of TLC's Sister Wives will likely remember that the Sister Wives Tell Alls sit-down specials used to be hosted by TV host Tamron Hall until she abruptly stopped appearing in the special episodes. Unfortunately for fans, there was no explanation for why she ceased to host the specials, but reality TV fans know that people come and go from these shows, so many fans just assumed that she had moved on to focus on other parts of her career.

Now, Tamron Hall has revealed that there was a much shadier reason for her exit from the Sister Wives Tell Alls than fans had realized.

Tamron Hall says her Sister Wives questions were "too tough"

Although Tamron Hall no longer hosts the Tell Alls for Sister Wives, that hasn't stopped her from talking to the ex-wives of Kody Brown.

Meri Brown appeared on a recent episode of Tamron Hall's talk show and she dished on everything Sister Wives with Tamron Hall revealing the reason that she was fired from the Tell Alls and which former members of the plural marriage had the most tension while they were being filmed.

On her departure from the Sister Wives Tell Alls, Tamron Hall revealed during the episode that she "was told not to come back" and that "some people thought that the questions were too tough that I was asking."

Did Kody Brown get Tamron Hall fired from hosting the Sister Wives Tell Alls?

Fans of the reality TV series will certainly agree that it likely wasn't the fans who felt the questions were too tough on the cast -- fans always looked forward to the Tell Alls because they were a way for questions to be posed toward the cast and for an outsider to really dig into the drama of the season and force the Brown family to confront issues that they might have been avoiding.

Although Tamron Hall didn't name any names as to who exactly felt like her questions were "too tough" and had TLC ask her not to return to continue hosting them, it's not hard to speculate about the fact that it was likely Kody Brown.

When Meri came out onto the stage for her appearance on the show, she told the host that she "never had any problems" with the talk show host, ruling out her as the problem cast member.

The last of the Tell Alls that Tamron Hall hosted questioned Kody Brown's decision to marry Robyn Brown, the last of his wives that he remains in a relationship with. According to Tamron Hall during that Tell All, legally marrying Robyn, which Kody did in order to adopt her children, was a move that acted to "legitimize one wife" over the others.

Considering even Meri Brown's friend is shown on the latest episode of Sister Wives saying that she feels like Kody and Robyn Brown have an everyone else versus them mentality, the idea that Kody could have had Tamron Hall fired from hosting the Tell Alls because she questioned his and Robyn's relationship isn't hard for fans to imagine.

Tamron Hall says Meri Brown and Robyn Brown had the most tension

While appearing on Tamron Hall's talk show, Meri Brown was asked about her relationship today with Robyn Brown and the talk show host pointed out that the two of them were particularly tense while they were still in a plural marriage.

"What is your relationship like with Robyn? Because on set, I felt like the most tension was between you and Robyn," the talk show host asked and pointed out that while Meri was Kody's first wife and originally the only one in the plural marriage that he was legally married to, he divorced her in order to legally marry Robyn so he could adopt her children. Now, Robyn is the only person left in their previously plural marriage with Kody.

After initially hesitating to answer the question, Meri Brown said that the talk show host wasn't wrong to say the two of them were tense and said that they "talk when [they] need to."
