TLC's Sister Wives is almost back and it's bringing all the drama with it -- this time, focused between Kody Brown's current and former wives rather than between Kody and his exes for a change.
In a preview shared by PEOPLE for the upcoming episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown is shown talking to her bestie Jenn about what happened to her friendship with Robyn Brown and things get seriously shady.
"It just became them against everybody else": Meri Brown's best friend Jenn doesn't hold back against Robyn Brown
In the preview for the upcoming episode, Meri Brown is shown talking to her best friend, Jenn Sullivan, about the fact that she had heard negative things about Robyn Brown prior to their friendship falling apart. In the preview, she cuts herself off because she says she knows "the look" that Jenn is giving her and her best friend interjects to share her own thoughts on Robyn.
In the clip, Jenn Sullivan says that she doesn't necessarily think that Robyn Brown was manipulative on purpose, but says that she thinks that Robyn's dynamic with Kody Brown lead to the two of them shutting other people out of their lives.
Jenn tells Meri in the clip, "I do think that Kody decided that he had this new person that was this new insider with him, and then it just became them against everybody else."
The Sister Wives star's friend went on to call out Robyn's hot-and-cold behavior and said that it was "f---ed up" of her to constantly go back and forth between being friendly with Meri and ignoring their relationship entirely when it suited her. She's shown in the clip saying, "She'd act like she was your best friend, and then completely ignore you and hurt your feelings."
According to Meri Brown, she and Kody Brown's last remaining wife used to be extremely close and she "felt very solid" in their friendship. Things changed when a divide formed in their relationship and the two of them drifted apart to the point they're at now.
During an episode of The Sarah Fraser Show in 2024, Meri Brown opened up about their friendship when she said that she wasn't sure if Robyn Brown actually cared that she was leaving their plural marriage and vaguely implied that there was "confusion" amongst the family about Robyn and Kody Brown's feelings about her leaving Kody.
Despite the confusion, Meri Brown said that she really did feel like Robyn Brown was upset to see their plural marriage fall apart and said on the podcast, "I feel like that she had this idea, when she came in the family, of, you know, this big plural family. I really think that."
Considering Robyn and Kody Brown have shared some minor disagreements on whether or not they want their own children to get into plural marriages with Robyn Brown seeming more in favor of them, this likely isn't a surprise.
When does Sister Wives come back?
