The Bachelor may only be on week three, but the drama is already off the charts. This week, Rose and Carolina had some major drama over something that this season's Bachelor, Grant Ellis, may or may not have said.

Rose was accused of lying to Carolina

After a heartfelt moment between Grant and Litia in which the two of them opened up about their shared experiences growing up and Litia was able to FaceTime her mom after getting a rose from their date. It was a sweet moment that showed a real connection between Grant and Litia, but things took a serious turn when the cameras cut back to Carolina.

Although she had been previously upset about the fact that Grant was on a date with another woman (leading many fans to wonder if Carolina remembered what show she had signed up for), she was now upset about something else. According to Carolina, Rose had come to her off-camera to confess something that Grant had said to her the previous week.

"She said that last week on our group date, when me and Grant danced together, he told Rose when he was dancing with me, he was thinking about her," Carolina revealed and it sent fans of The Bachelor into a spiral.

While fans were wondering if Grant really said that, if Rose made it up to stir the pot and get under Carolina's skin, or if Carolina made it up in order to have something less petty to be upset about, some eagle-eyed fans of The Bachelor went looking though last week's episode to find the conversation and settle this debate once and for all.

Bachelor fans found the receipts

While the episode continued with a confrontation between Carolina and Grant, The Bachelor fans got to searching the last episode for the conversation between Rose and Grant to see whether or not he really said that.

While Carolina refused to share with Grant who told her that he was thinking about another woman while dancing with her, Grant guessed a number of names (starting out with Bailey, Dina, and his rose date recipient Litia) before he landed on Rose and went to ask her why she had made that story up.

Rose defends herself by saying that she thought she heard Grant say that and apologizes for hurting his character with what Grant calls "player s---" and when he leaves the conversation with Rose, he seems totally done with her. But, as The Bachelor fans uncovered, Rose might not have been spreading the lies Grant claimed she was after all.

As it turns out, Rose actually wasn't lying about what Grant said -- he just didn't name the woman he was dancing with. Considering the fact that the women on The Bachelor are competing with so many women for the heart of one man, it's not surprising that Rose genuinely may have mixed the situation up and misremembered what Grant said.

At the same time, it's understandable that Carolina was so upset about the situation. Whether that was actually who Grant Ellis was talking about when he told Rose he was thinking about her while dancing with another woman, being told that he was would hurt anyone's feelings.

Did Rose get sent home on The Bachelor?

After all that drama, fans were understandably expecting Rose to be sent home at the rose ceremony. Surprisingly, it seems like Grant didn't let this drama get to him and when the rose ceremony, Rose was given her rose and instead, he chose to send home Chloie, Bailey, and Alli Jo.

Since The Bachelorette won't be airing in 2025, fans won't be seeing any of these women starring in their own season to find love this summer, but fans are expecting to see them on Bachelor in Paradise since it will be airing in summer 2025 in The Bachelorette's place.
