The creators of Selling Sunset and Selling the OC are bringing a brand new real estate-based show to Netflix, this time focusing on the most luxurious listings in NYC.
The brand new show stars Eleonora Srugo, a major name in Manhattan real estate who was named Douglas Elliman's top ranked agent in 2023. Selling the City will be focused around her building up her own team of agents and is set to feature Jade Chan, Abigail Godfrey, Gisselle Meneses-Nunez, Taylor Middleton, Justin Tuinstra, Jordyn Taylor Braff, and Steve Gold.
According to Eleonora Srugo, she respects the casts of the previous Selling shows on Netflix, but thinks that her show will be a little different. According to this cutthroat real estate agent, being a woman leading her own team of agents and being in New York City means that she needs to work extra hard to make big sales and get ahead in her field.
She spoke to Tudum about the upcoming series and said, "But this is a little different. We’re a little grittier, and a woman is leading the team. The city also takes everything to another level. There’s a really high barrier to entry in this market, and it makes it extraordinarily competitive."
According to the "scrappy" real estate agent, her life is glamorous now, but it hasn't been easy and she built her real estate career from the ground up. Though she's been a top seller in 2023 and 2024, she shared that it was hard work and she put a lot into getting to the point that people will see on the show. She told Tudum, "I didn’t look like this when I was building the business. I didn’t date, socialize, or even have a drink for years because I never went out or had friends. It’s been a lot of sacrifice."
She went on to say that she's excited to share her story now on the show that she's reached such a high point in her career.
Selling the City is the third Selling Sunset spin-off series, following Selling Tampa and Selling the OC. Selling Tampa was canceled after a single season that aired on the streaming service in 2021 and Selling the OC aired its third season earlier in 2024. Selling Sunset is currently filming its ninth season.
Selling the City is set to premiere on Netflix on January 3, 2025.
