Monica Garcia leaks texts with Lisa Barlow about Jen Shah

Even though Monica Garcia wasn't invited back for another season of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, she hasn't let that stop her from getting into all the drama and this time, she decided to leak text messages with snowflake holder Lisa Barlow in order to prove her point.

As fans know, Jen Shah was one of the original members of the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and she was on the series until the third season when she was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Monica Garcia was a witness in her case and according to Lisa Barlow, Monica tried to use the case to make herself look better despite what she was doing behind the scenes.

Monica leaks texts with Lisa to prove Lisa "in this mess too"

"What we're not gonna do anymore is keep pretending like you wasn't all up in this mess too," Monica wrote on her Instagram story where she shared a screenshot of text messages with Lisa regarding Jen's sentencing.

In one screenshot, Monica can be seen texting with Lisa in January of 2023, one month before Monica goes on to say they started filming, about Jen's sentencing. In the texts, Lisa asks if Monica sent something to the prosecutors and Monica replies saying that Jen only got sentenced to 6.5 years.

"That's it[?]" Lisa replied and then said that the sentence was "insane" when Monica replied affirming that was the length of the sentence she got.

Monica shared other conversations with Lisa that date back to September 2022 and include Monica sharing information about her conversations with the prosecutors with Lisa responding back with hearts emojis and promises to communicate with the prosecutors herself "if she keeps it up."

Along with the text messages, Monica claimed that she "hasn't posted HALF of what [she's] got" and that Lisa needs to stop mentioning her in interviews, calling everything that Lisa has said about her "lies" and attempts to make it look like Monica was a liar.

Monica fires back at Lisa's claims that she was "pretending to be something [she] wasn't"

"She wants to pretend to be this hero in the situation where she’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I helped to expose Jen.’ She did not. She was volunteering to be a witness. She was never called to be a witness. She was calling them to volunteer to be a witness when she didn’t get what she wanted from Jen," Lisa Barlow said of Monica Garcia's "devious" behavior during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, during which she said that "anything could happen" when it comes to Jen Shah becoming a snowflake holder once again.

Monica isn't taking these claims lightly. Even though Monica isn't on the show anymore, she took to her Instagram account to post a clip of the interview and let her thoughts flow in the caption.

"I was pretending to be something I wasn’t?? While you had a whole a** criminal pretending to be someone she wasn’t right under your nose and you 'didn’t' know it?" Monica wrote in the caption in response to Lisa's claim that her betrayal was worse than Jen's because Monica was pretending to be someone different to their faces while running her Reality Von Tease account behind the scenes.

"As far as me being a witness, were you there?? No. I was told I was being subpoenaed by the federal government if I refused to move forward," Monica said in response to the fact that Lisa claimed that she was using being a witness in Jen's case to better her own image.

And in response to the fact that Lisa had once called Jen harmless and made a joke about the fact that the only people who need to be worried are the elderly, Monica said, "Don’t speak on something that you didn’t have the balls to do yourself. The RIGHT thing for all of her victims and ones she defrauded. You know, the elderly ones that you just laughed about."
