Updated 9 PM PT November 14: Caroline Brooks responded via X (formerly Twitter) to say that she was aware the show would be canceled and had told both Lesa Milan and Chanel Ayan "months ago."

It seems like Bravo's decision to put The Real Housewives of Dubai "on pause" after two seasons surprised the cast as much as it did the fans.

Lesa Milan, one of the stars of the reality show, spoke to Fubar Radio's Access All Areas about the fact that the show had been shelved by the network and shared that none of the cast had any idea that it was going to happen and even that they were "100% expecting" to be renewed for a third season.

She said on the radio show, "We were 100 per cent expecting a season three and were caught by surprise that we were put on pause. The producers held a group meeting, and said, 'Listen, you guys did great, but right now we have to put the show on pause, we'll let you know what's to come.'"

Despite being shocked by the news, Lesa Milan shared that it wasn't entirely a bad thing for her and that not being on the show anymore is giving her a chance to focus on other things instead of the drama of reality TV.

"I'm one of those housewives that already had a business prior to coming on the show, which is also why the shake up and the pause is okay, now I get to focus on that," Lesa Milan shared and revealed that she's feeling "excited" to explore other parts of her life and focus more on other plans now that the show has been put on pause for the time being.

Her relief to be off the show for now probably comes as no surprise to fans who saw the explosive fight between herself and her former co-star Chanel Ayan at the RHODubai reunion in which each of them accused the other of being on Ozempic.

"I just kept checking in and checking out. There were moments where I was like, I'm not doing this anymore," Lesa Milan said about the dramatic reunion special, during which she and Chanel launched insults and accusations back and forth at each other until Andy Cohen eventually changed the subject.

The Real Housewives of Dubai is streaming on Peacock now and although it's currently "on pause," it's possible that Bravo will bring it back out of the vault someday.
