Sutton Stracke is making a movie

Bravo star Sutton Stracke is more than just a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills diamond holder. The latest move in this socialite and reality TV star's career is in movies because it was just announced that Sutton Stracke and Jeff Festa have come together to write a movie script that just got picked up by a production company.

The film has been picked up by Studio BRB and Vanderpump Rules producer Alex Baskin's company 32 flavors to bring the movie to life. According to the press release about the project, they've optioned Sutton Stracke and Jeff Festa's script and are beginning to option the project out to networks as the script is "in the final stages of development.

The release shared the following summary for the film: "The untitled film follows a wealthy socialite who schemes with her friends to get revenge on her husband by New Year’s Eve after he leaves her for a younger woman."

The script focusing on a socialite who is out to get revenge on her husband certainly sounds right up Sutton Stracke's alley -- Sutton Stracke joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during season 9 as a friend and then returned the following season as a main cast member and she's no stranger to heartbreak, having gone through quite a divorce just a few years before joining the cast.

Because the project is still in the fairly early stages of development, it's way too early to tell who will be cast in the series and whether or not any Real Housewives stars or other Bravolebrities will make cameo appearances or even take on a lead role in the film, but it's definitely something that fans can look forward to hearing more about as time goes on.

Prior to making this announcement, Sutton Stracke's experience in the entertainment world has been focused on her role in the Real Housewives franchise, but she also played herself in one episode of the horror TV show Chucky.

Whether or not any familiar Bravo faces appear in the film, it's always exciting for Bravolebrities to step out of the box and expand their careers into doing something new and fans will certainly be waiting to see updates on Sutton Stracke's new movie.
