Following the bodycam footage for her arrest being released, it's being reported that Bravo is not happy with Karen Huger's behavior. In fact, a source told DailyMail.com that the network told Karen Huger she either needs to clean up her life or she won't be welcome back to The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Karen Huger's arrest footage was released after she was found guilty
After crashing her car in Potomac, Maryland in March 2025, Karen Huger was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was recently found guilty of "DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, and failure to notify authorities of an address change," according to Fox 5 Washington DC. Because she was found guilty, it's possible that Karen Huger could be facing up to two years in jail as punishment.
Even if she doesn't serve the full sentence, it's reportedly possible that she won't be coming back to The Real Housewives of Potomac because of her behavior in the newly released bodycam footage from the night of her arrest.
On December 18, Karen Huger was found guilty and the bodycam footage from the night she was arrested following her car crash was released, which subsequently went viral on social media among Real Housewives fans because of Karen's behavior.
In the footage, Karen Huger appears to be visibly intoxicated and informs the officer arresting her of her nickname "Grande Dame," calls herself "Thomas Jefferson's concubine," and asks if the officer is aware of who she is, among other moments that had Real Housewives fans buzzing on social media as they shared clips, quotes, and even made memes from the footage.
Unfortunately for Karen Huger, an insider told DailyMail.com that Bravo reportedly didn't think that the footage was quite as funny as fans did.

Karen Huger's sentencing hearing is scheduled for January 29, 2025 and although it's entirely possible that she will be facing jail time following her guilty veridct, an insider claims that even if she isn't found guilty, she might be fired from The Real Housewives of Potomac.
According to the source speaking to DailyMail.com, although the current season of The Real Housewives of Potomac has wrapped, Karen Huger's place on future seasons of the show is at risk because of the behavior she showed in her DUI arrest video. The anonymous insider told the publication, "After her DUI arrest Karen Huger will not be asked to return unless she cleans herself up."
The source told the publication that Karen Huger is currently on The Real Housewives of Potomac's "chopping block" and that if she wants to come back for next season, she's going to have to completely turn her life around and get sober to prove that she's learned her lesson and won't have another incident like this on her record.
The insider said, "She was obnoxious to police and disrespectful of the law enforcement. This will all be taken into consideration, and she is going to have to get sober before any decisions are made."
According to Karen Huger's lawyer, they're "disappointed" that the jury found her guilty and that her legal team reserves their right to an appeal following her receiving a guilty verdict.
