Bravo fans have been waiting a long time for the trailer for The Real Housewives of at Atlanta season 16. On January 31, Bravo released the trailer for the next season of RHOA, a season that they're calling "a new era" of the show. The release of the trailer got fans buzzing about the cast -- and whether or not they spotted a veteran peach holder in the trailer -- and ready for the new season to air already.

When does The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 air?
It's been a year since Bravo announced that RHOA had been renewed for a 16th season. The show was renewed in February 2024 and went through some major cast changes in the time since the new season was announced with Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross leaving the series and two veteran peach holders announcing that they would be returning.
The show started filming in the summer of 2024 and will be airing on Bravo starting March 9, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET.
Is Kenya Moore in season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
When the RHOA season 16 trailer dropped, some fans thought they saw Kenya Moore's silhouette among the cast members. This was interesting to fans of the Bravo series because of the rumors that had been swirling since filming started in summer 2024 that Kenya Moore had been suspended from the series for allegedly sharing intimate images of new cast member Brit Eady.
Kenya Moore has gone on to say that she takes accountability for what she did, it doesn't seem like that means she's coming back to Bravo just yet. She had said in 2024 that the rumors of her return were "wishful thinking" and that wishful thinking was reignited when fans started speculating that she was featured in the RHOA trailer.

Unfortunately for hopeful fans that wanted to see Kenya Moore back on their screens for season 16 of RHOA, she confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that it was not her they saw in the trailer. But it's been reported that since she was present for filming early in the season, she will appear as a guest in season 16.
Who is in The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 cast?
1. Kelli Ferrell
Among the new cast members joining RHOA in season 16 is Kelli Ferrell. Kelli is a restaurant owner, celebrity chef, and cookbook author who opened her restaurant, Nana's Chicken-N-Waffles, in 2016. Kelli is a mother to four daughters and is in the middle of getting a divorce from her husband of over a decade, Chuvalo Mark Ferrell. The two split in 2022.
2. Phaedra Parks
Phaedra Parks is an RHOA veteran who first joined the cast in 2010 and has been an off-and-on member of the show since she left in season 9 and is re-joining for season 16. Along with RHOA, this attorney has appeared on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls' Trip and Married to Medicine.
3. Brit Eady
Another of the newcomers to RHOA season 16 is Brit Eady, a former model turned insurance agent who runs her own insurance agency. Along with working in the insurance world, this new peach holder is also a busy entrepreneur who runs a shapewear line, Bare and Naked, and offers education to other insurance professionals through her agency.
4. Shamea Morton
Shamea Morton Mwangi is no newbie to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she is new to being a main cast member. Shamea has been a guest and friend of the housewives in previous seasons but in season 16 of RHOA, she's been given her peach. Shamea is an actress, dancer, and former Atlanta Falcons cheerleader.
5. Porsha Williams
After taking a couple seasons off the show, Porsha Williams has made her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Porsha Williams is a singer, actress, and was married to NFL star Kordell Stewart from 2011 through 2013 with their nuptials being featured on Platinum Weddings.
6. Angela Oakley
Angela Oakley is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the first time in season 16. Outside of being a new peach holder on Bravo, she's a tax professional and real estate investor. In her personal life, Angela is a mom and wife to NBA star Charles Oakley, who she married in 2016, and whose marriage issues will be part of her storyline on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
7. Drew Sidora
Before she joined Bravo, Drew Sidora was an actress who became known for roles like Chantel on the Disney Channel series That's So Raven. She first joined RHOA in season 13 and has been a main cast member in the series since she joined the cast.
8. Cynthia Bailey
Back as a friend of the housewives is Cynthia Bailey. Cynthia Bailey first joined the cast of RHOA in season 3 as a main cast member and remained on the show until her departure ahead of season 14. Since then, she's returned as a guest and now a friend of for season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
