Rumors have been swirling that it may be time for Kenya Moore to return to Bravo and take back her peach on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But is there any truth to the rumors that she's been filming again for the show?

Unfortunately, Kenya Moore says that it's "wishful thinking."

What did Kenya Moore say about returning to RHOA?

Kenya Moore first got famous as a model in her teen years and worked as a model and actress for years before joining the season 5 cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Through the 15th season, she appeared as both a main cast member and spent one season as a guest star before leaving the series.

Although she had originally come back to film for season 16, she was removed from the show and Bravo's cameras ceased following her amid a massive scandal, but there have been rumors that she may have sorted her issues out and been back to filming for the reality series.

Kenya Moore says those rumors are totally false, but that she appreciates her fans that are keeping their eyes on her career and hoping to see more of her in the future.

"I think it’s wishful thinking from the fans. I really have a great fanbase — real, not followers, but real fans and people who really care about me and that wanna see me, that miss me," Kenya Moore said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

And to the fans that want to keep seeing her on their screens, whether it's on The Real Housewives of Atlanta or otherwise, Kenya has a message for them: "Like I said, I’m not going anywhere. I’m here."

What is Kenya Moore doing after leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

The main thing that Kenya Moore seems to be focused on after her departure from the Bravo reality series is the children's book she wrote with her daughter. The book, titled Brooklyn Bound: Paris, was co-written by Kenya Moore with her daughter, Brooklyn Daly, 6, and is said to be the first in a series of books that Kenya Moore plans to release following an illustrated version of her daughter traveling the world.

While speaking to PEOPLE, Kenya Moore said that letting her daughter see the world is something that has always been a priority for her. She said, "I don't want her to be close-minded. I want her to know the world is bigger than her backyard; bigger than our life in Atlanta."

But, it sounds like the book isn't all Kenya Moore is working on -- even if she's not returning to RHOA. She told Entertainment Tonight, "I’m so busy, and there are projects that I can’t talk about right now, but when I tell you, I have not been busier. And being a businesswoman also I’m learning that it’s really tough right now because having a distraction from your business is sometimes just that."
