Summer House star Paige DeSorbo recently shared that she had Southern Charm star Craig Conover had chosen to go their separate ways after three years of dating.

According to Paige DeSorbo, the two of them still have love for each other, but they felt like things just weren't going to work out for the two of them in the long run. Her view on their breakup is really mature and honest and it sounds like there was no bad blood between the two of them.

But on the January 2 episode of Southern Charm, Craig Conover revealed some things about his plans for the future with Paige DeSorbo that seem like the two of them were getting pretty serious. In a flashback during the episode, Paige is even seen calling something that Craig did to plan for their future together "the craziest thing in the world."

Craig Conover previously said he and Paige DeSorbo were "going to get married one day"

While speaking with Us Weekly prior to their split, Craig Conover said that the two of them were planning to get married one day in the future. The two Bravolebrities, who met while filming Winter House, lived in different areas of the country and were trying to balance their own lives and the distance between them, which was the big reason that Craig Conover gave for why they were holding out on getting married.

"I mean, we're going to get married one day. But she's a really career-driven person and she's doing great. And I've got the business that's kind of flying right now, so we're making the best of ourselves before coming together as a team officially," he told Us Weekly in October, two months before the two of them announced that they had gone their separate ways.

While the two of them were still together, an insider had told the publication that Paige DeSorbo had no plans to move to Charleston, South Carolina to be with Craig Conover and unfortunately, he had ties to the city that he couldn't leave behind to move to New York City to live with her.

Long distance relationships are no joke, but a recent episode of Southern Charm made it seem like Craig Conover was planning for a serious future together despite the distance.

Paige DeSorbo said Craig Conover freezing his sperm was "the craziest thing" that he'd ever done

Craig Conover had previously told PEOPLE that he wanted to be "husband and father material" for Paige DeSorbo and that he had quit drinking in order to show his dedication to their relationship. At the time, he talked about how the two of them were just taking things easy, but that they were dedicated to their marriage and planned to get married some day.

As part of that dedication, Craig Conover had some of his sperm frozen so that when the two of them decided they were ready to start a family together, the groundwork would be laid for them to start their family planning journey.

In the January 2 episode of Southern Charm on Bravo, Craig Conover told his co-stars and friends, Austen Kroll and Shep Rose, that while he and Paige DeSorbo had decided to wait a few years before they started trying to have kids, he wanted to take the next step in their journey and freeze his sperm so they could be prepared.

In a flashback during the episode, Craig is seen telling Paige about his plans, which she calls "the craziest thing in the world," and Craig reveals that he had gone to the sperm bank before this conversation in order to take care of freezing some of his sperm for the future.

"The version of life that I saw myself living isn't what I'm living, which is like this stable home that I grew up in. Every night at dinner, my mom and dad were there and my brother. And I just loved that," he revealed in an interview segment on the show and went on to describe his Summer House star girlfriend as "the right person," but said that their relationship isn't exactly what he had been expecting, likely referring to the long distance aspect of their relationship.

While Craig Conover seemed sold on the fact that his future was going to play out as he hoped, Austen Kroll told cameras that he wasn't entirely sure about how things were going to play out for his friend and co-star.

After asking Craig if it was him or Paige that came up with their relationship timeline, Austen told an interview segment of the episode that he didn't know if he believed the two of them were on the same page as far as the future of their relationship.

On her podcast, Giggly Squad, Paige DeSorbo reassured listeners that it was not Bravo forcing the two of them to pretend that they were still dating (as to avoid spoiling a show's storyline) while they had been broken up for some time. But only time will tell whether or not their breakup happened while Southern Charm was still filming and will be part of Craig's storyline this season.

Southern Charm airs on Bravo every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET.
