The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Jen Shah's prison sentence has once again been reduced, Page Six reports. Now, fans are speculating about whether or not she'll be given her snowflake back as an RHOSLC cast member -- and whether or not they want her to.

When is Jen Shah's new release date?

Jen Shah, who was charged in 2021 with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering and originally sentenced to 6 1/2 years in federal prison, has had her sentence reduced a number of times since she was initially sentenced in 2023. Page Six has reported that her sentence was reduced once more and now, Jen Shah is scheduled to be released on November 3, 2026.

While it's not clear whether or not this means that Jen Shah will be welcomed back to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, it's definitely been a topic of conversation among Bravo fans who are debating whether she should be brought back because she was good TV or if she's undeserving of a redemption arc after her crimes.

Ultimately, it's up to Bravo whether or not she gets back in front of the cameras after she's released, but with her sentence being reduced for a third time, it seems that Bravo will be making that decision sooner rather than later.

Jen Shah's former cast members who remain on RHOSLC have faced some backlash from fans who think that the cast members have already forgiven Jen Shah and would be ready to welcome her back to the show despite what she did. Even former snowflake holder Monica Garcia called out Sutton Stracke and Lisa Barlow for calling her scarier than Jen Shah.

What have the RHOSLC cast said about Jen Shah?

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City snowflake holder Meredith Marks shared on a November 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live that she had gotten a call from Jen Shah and had spoken to her recently for the first time since her incarceration.

Not only did she share that the two of them reconnected via a jail phone call, she also shared that she thinks that "accountability goes a long way" when asked why her fellow RHOSLC stars may be so open to reconnecting with and forgiving Jen Shah after her crimes.

She told PEOPLE, "If you say, 'Look, I screwed up and I made a mistake and I'm sorry' β€” that matters. If she's taking accountability and doing what she needs to do to make it better, that's the best she can do right now. There's nothing else she can do beyond that."

Fans will have to stay tuned to see if that accountability means that Jen Shah will be offered her snowflake back when she's released in 2026 -- or sooner, if the trend of reducing her sentence continues.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 reunion special starts on January 22 on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET.
