One of the best parts about watching Bravo shows on Peacock after they air is seeing the uncensored, extended cut that airs there from time to time.
The first part of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 reunion was one episode that featured an extended cut and it showed a previously unaired conversation that Bronywn Newport and Lisa Barlow were having with their respective husbands, Todd Bradley and John Barlow, about their dramatic feud this season.
During the reunion, the two of them were once again facing off against each other about grievances they'd been having with one another throughout the entire season -- plus some new drama. Along with petty things like Lisa Barlow accusing Todd Bradley of faking the $4 million necklace purchase he allegedly bought for Bronwyn Newport, there was also some more serious drama.
The tension came from the fact that Lisa Barlow had shared private information on the RHOSLC After Show about Bronwyn's daughter, who her grandparents had never met due to their belief that she had had a miscarriage. While Lisa defended herself by insisting she was just sharing what she was told and that she wasn't trying to purposely hurt Bronwyn or her daughter, Gwen, the excuse wasn't enough for Bronwyn.
Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn Newport break down their feud for their husbands backstage
The husbands of the RHOSLC stars were a pretty big part of this season with multiple scenes featuring them and, in Bronwyn's case, a lot of speculation about their marriages.
So, when they appeared during part of the reunion, it wasn't exactly a surprise to fans. The extended cut of the first part of the reunion featured an extra scene featuring the husbands as their snowflake holder wives caught them up on all the drama.
During the extended cut, Lisa Barlow is shown backstage talking to her husband, John Barlow.
She breaks down in tears during the break and tells her husband that she's tired of being on the "hamster wheel" of her friendship with Brownyn because she feels like the two of them just go around in circles and have the same issues with each other over and over.
"I feel like I was trying to be the best friend to Bronwyn this whole year," Lisa Barlow told her husband during the scene and said she didn't realize the two of them had issues with each other until she saw the way Bronwyn was talking about her on the show.
Meanwhile, Bronwyn Newport is shown backstage talking to her own husband, but she makes it obvious that the two of them are not as close as Lisa thought they were.
While speaking to Todd, Bronwyn says the two of them aren't friends and won't be friends any time in the near future. According to Bronwyn's backstage conversation with Todd, she had been trying to take responsibility for their friendship breakdown but reconnecting just wasn't working out between the two of them.
Although Bronwyn previously said that she was hoping she and Lisa could work their problems out and come back together as friends at the RHOSLC reunion, it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
