Bravo has shared a sneak peek of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 reunion and it answers a burning question that fans have had since the footage of Karen Huger's DUI arrest was shared: will her arrest be a topic of conversation at the reunion?

The seating chart and all the looks for the reunion were already shared, so fans know that Karen Huger did not attend the filming of the reunion as she made the decision to go to rehab prior to filming. But, the fact that she skipped the reunion just served to fuel the fan speculation about her future on RHOP.

Now, in the sneak peek shared by Bravo for the reunion special, we get to see that while Karen Huger was absent from The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, she sent in a message to the cast from her home -- and her potential jail sentence was a topic of conversation at the reunion.

In the preview, Andy Cohen is shown acknowledging Karen Huger's absence before the video she sent in for the reunion plays. The Bravo host and producer says, "There’s an elephant in the room that we need to address. Karen, the Grand Dame, is not with us."

Karen Huger's message to the RHOP reunion got mixed reactions from the cast

The sneak peek shows Karen Huger in her home crying as her co-stars look shocked by the video, but fans are going to have to wait until the RHOP reunion airs to see what she had to say in the video she sent in.

Still, the trailer shows her co-stars reactions to the videos and their speculations about how "terrible" Karen would do in jail if she were to be sentenced for her DUI arrest.

"As much as I hate her, I love her," Gizelle Bryant said of the video when asked by Andy Cohen about the fact that the message made her cry. Likewise, RHOP newbie Keiarna Stewart said that it's "sad."

While some of Karen Huger's RHOP co-stars were shedding tears about the video she sent to Andy Cohen in lieu of attending the reunion, not everyone was quite so touched by the message.

While cast members like Gizelle and Keiarna were crying about the message, Wendy Osefo was not so kind. In the sneak peek, she's shown saying, "Having seen that it all adds up and now I can confidently say that is not my friend."

The RHOP stars think Karen Huger will do "terrible" in jail

Karen Huger was arrestd for DUI in March 2024 and her sentencing hearing is at the end of February 2025, meaning that it's not yet known whether or not she will be serving jail time for her arrest. But, since there was obviously no way to avoid discussing this at the reunion, Andy Cohen still asked for her co-stars opinions on how she would handle serving her sentence.

According to her co-stars, Karen Huger's time behind bars would be "terrible" with Gizelle Bryant humorously pointing out that she wouldn't be able to wear her wig in jail.

Karen Huger's manager shared a statement with The Daily Dish on why she wasn't going to be attending the reunion, citing her decision to go to a treatment facility before her sentencing date instead of attending the reunion filming.

The statement reads, "Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today. She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth."
