The Valley's Brittany Cartwright is calling out Jax Taylor's 'disgusting' lies

Brittany Cartwright, 35, publicly criticized her estranged husband Jax Taylor for allegedly misleading fans about his charitable donations. The Valley star, who is also known for his time on Vanderpump Rules, posted a video on Cameo saying, “I’m now on Cameo, so hit me up. I’d love to help you guys out. Also, you’re helping me out because I’ll be donating my money to cancer research, specifically esophageal cancer, because obviously that is near and dear to my heart, so hit me up. I’d love to shoot you a message.”

Brittany took to her Instastories to share Jax’s video, captioning it, “Just realized Jax has this on his Cameo, and it’s disgusting because he hasn’t donated a dime. FYI @cameo.” 

She quickly deleted the post, but not before it was caught and screenshotted by fans. 

Jax’s personal connection to cancer stems from the loss of his father, Ronald Cauchi, who passed away in December 2017 after battling esophageal cancer. 

At the time, Jax, 45, expressed his grief on social media, posting, “My heart is broken. I lost my best friend and the best man I have ever met last night. I love you so much, Dad, I can’t even breathe anymore. The only person not letting me fall right now is my amazing girlfriend [Cartwright].”

Brittany made no claim that this was a new video, in fact, she admitted she “just realized” it. 

An inside source told Page Six that the Cameo video was recorded “three years ago” and has been featured on TV and social media. The source also claimed that Jax has participated in multiple charities, donating his money and time. However, fans on social media supported Brittany’s stance, citing Jax’s history of dishonesty.

“I’ve been waiting for her to start calling him out on stuff just like he’s done to everyone else for years,” one fan commented.

Another fan pointed out a recent incident on House of Villains where Jax lied about the severity of Brittany's hospitalization.

“I honestly think her breaking point was when he lied about her being hospitalized while he was on House of Villains,” the fan said. “She didn’t say much but said he lied about it and she had to tell her family and friends that he lied.”

Jax and Brittany have documented the ups and downs of their relationship on reality TV for years. Fans have often called out the former SUR bartender for how he treated and spoke to her on national TV. 

The couple announced they were separating just ahead of the premiere of the Vanderpump Rules spin-off The Valley. Since then, Jax has also admitted himself into a treatment facility for his mental health – although some fans think that this time it really is “about the pasta.”
