Stassi Schroeder is coming back to reality TV.

The 36-year-old former Vanderpump Rules star is set to join the cast of the Hulu spinoff series Vanderpump Villa, which was just renewed for a second season.

Lisa Vanderpump announced the news on August 9 via Instagram, where she raised a glass of champagne and teased the upcoming season. “Well hello there, I want to welcome you back to Vanderpump Villa season 2,” she began. “Now, I am sitting here and I'm thinking, ‘What should I put on the menu?’ Any ideas?”

The camera then panned to Stassi seated at the table. “Lisa, obviously goat cheese balls,” Stassi quipped, referencing the beloved appetizer from her days at SUR, the original setting of Vanderpump Rules in 2013.

“Excellent idea, cheers!” Vanderpump responded, adding, “Welcome back, darling!”

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star captioned the video, “Vanderpump Villa is returning for Season 2… with a new addition! #WelcomeBackDarling #VanderpumpVilla.”

Fans rejoiced at Stassi's return to Bravo, especially after she and co-star Kristen Doute – now back on The Valley – were fired in June 2020 for past racially insensitive actions involving cast member Faith Stowers. Both Stassi and Kristen have since apologized for their actions.

“Oh, I’ve waited my entire life for Stassi’s return,” one fan commented, while another added, “NEEEDDDDDDD STASSI BACK ON MY TV SCREEN.”

Stassi shared the announcement on her own Instagram account, posting a photo with Lisa at the French villa where the show is filmed.

“You know I’m walking around these halls pretending to be European royalty #vanderpumpvilla,” she wrote.

Vanderpump Villa is not Stassi Schroeder’s only show in the works

Alongside her return to Vanderpump Villa, Stassi is also launching her own docu-comedy series on Hulu, titled Stassi Says. With 30-minute episodes, the show will be executive produced by Stassi and former VPR producers Erin Foye and Jenna Rosenfeld. The series synopsis describes it as “endlessly relatable, utterly hysterical, and questionably sane, Stassi is the anchor of a fresh ensemble of comedic and chaotic characters who are dealing with identity crises and major life crossroads of their own — and Stassi’s the one who has to keep them all afloat.”

Vanderpump Villa marks Lisa Vanderpump’s first collaboration with Stassi since her departure from Vanderpump Rules four years ago.

After being let go by Bravo, Stassi married her longtime boyfriend Beau Clark and welcomed two children Hartford and Messer.

Fans can stream season 1 of Vanderpump Villa on Hulu and can catch Stassi in old seasons of Vanderpump Rules on Peacock
