Her separation from PK Kemsley has been the focus of Dorit Kemsley's storyline on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but is her estranged husband planning to step away from the series after the season ends?
In an interview with Daily Mail, PK Kemsley opened up about all the details of his split from Dorit, including whether or not he really meant it when he said he's "single" in a recent episode, how co-parenting with Dorit is going, and whether or not he's going to continue filming for season 15 of RHOBH.
According to PK, he and Dorit Kemsley are working on trying to navigate co-parenting, something that has come up on RHOBH as Dorit has claimed that PK will leave her with the kids for long periods of time and that PK has emailed her threatening to file for full custody of their kids. While things are messy on the show, PK had a different take on the situation when he spoke to Daily Mail.
"Listen, it is what it is. Things are incomplete. Things are not entirely as I'd like them presented. But we made the [bed], so we're in it, aren't we?" PK Kemsley told Daily Mail at a recent even after saying that he's been watching RHOBH's current season "sporadically."
The diamond holder's estranged husband didn't elaborate on exactly what he feels isn't bei presented as he likes, but it seems like the "incomplete" issue is that the two of them, like Dorit Kemsley's co-star and former best friend Kyle Richards, haven't officially filed for divorce amid their separation. But, PK says the two of them are doing their best to navigate co-parenting through their separation and balancing time with the kids.
"I'm with them every weekend. They're with me. We celebrated the birthdays together in the last few weeks. The kids are good," he told the publication.
PK Kemsley responds to the rumors that his split from Dorit Kemsley is fake
Former RHOA producer Carlos King recently claimed that Dorit and PK Kemsley are faking their divorce for the cameras, but PK said that couldn't be further from the truth.
"The show's on, so it's very real to us. It was filmed 10 months ago," he explained to Daily Mail, telling the publication that their divorce isn't being faked as the former Bravo producer claimed. PK went on to discuss the fact that earlier in the season, Dorit Kemsley had referred to him as a "full-blown alcoholic" and cited his drinking issues as the reason that the two of them had decided to separate.
"'My alcoholism had an element of responsibility in, in relation to the breakdown of our marriage. But that was just a component, right? And the truth is, if you understand the disease, alcoholism is a symptom. It's not a cause, so the reality is you have to get to what the cause was underneath," PK Kemsley shared with Daily Mail. On a December 2024 episode of Bravo's Hot Mic podcast, PK said that he was nearly a year sober and he went on to tell Daily Mail that Dorit's claim about his drinking was oversimplifying the reasons for their separation.
Is PK Kemsley going to continue filming RHOBH during season 15?
According to PK Kemsley's chat with Daily Mail, it seems like he won't be returning to be featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after the current season ends. Since it was just his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, that was featured on the show and he was only part of it as an extension of her, it makes sense that he would be leaving now that the two of them are no longer together.
According to the publication, PK said that he's "pretty done" with Bravo's cameras following him and that he doesn't want to be featured on season 15 when cameras pick back up to start filming again.
Whether this means that he and Dorit Kemsley will finally be moving forward with their divorce is unclear, but it definitely seems like it won't be easy for Dorit to be on the show if such a major part of her personal life is off-limits next season.
