Garcelle Beauvais is cutting out her former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars after announcing she was quitting the reality show. Garcelle recently announced her departure from the Bravo franchise after 5 seasons, citing wanting to spend more time on her sons as the reason.
Garcelle Beauvais unfollowed Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and Bozoma Saint John on Friday. All of them, minus Erika Jayne, still follow Garcelle Beauvais on Instagram, despite her walking out the season 14 reunion before the cast photo.
While she unfollowed the man cast of RHOBH, she still follows the friends of the housewives from the cast, Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly.
How Sutton Stracke feels about Garcelle unfollowing her
While Sutton and Garcelle were good friends on the show, their relationship began to sour toward the end of the most recent series of RHOBH.
In a statement to Page Six, Sutton explained how she felt after Garcelle unfollowed her. The actress is still following Sutton’s two business accounts, The Sutton Concept and Sutton Brands, on Instagram.
“Garcelle has chosen to unfollow all of the ‘Housewives,’” Sutton told the outlet “I can only imagine that she needs a clean break right now. I love her and am giving her the space she needs.”
"I know that she is going to move through this next chapter with grace and success."
In a cryptic Instagram from earlier this week, Garcelle posted a note which read, “YOU CHANGED. No. I healed. I learned. I grew. I set boundaries. I stopped settling. I put myself first.”
Last month, Parade reported that Garcelle was “very upset” with Sutton following the reunion and felt she was not supported by her co-star.
“She was very upset at Sutton for not defending her and sort of backing down against Kyle [Richards] when it comes to the situation with Morgan [Wade]. Garcelle felt totally blindsided by Sutton. They did not speak after the reunion.”
Before quitting the show, Garcelle stormed offstage during the filming the Season 14 reunion of RHOBH. “I am just so f---ing sick of it,” Beauvais said. “I can’t be friends with people like that. I don’t trust them. They’re all f---ing a------s.”
Kyle Richard also revealed 2 weeks ago that Garcelle was ignoring her texts. “I haven’t heard from her,” she told E! News. “I texted her twice and haven’t heard back.” Kyle diplomatically wishes her the best and described her exit as "unfortunate."
“I think she’ll always do well, so I’m not worried about her next chapter.”
