Exes of Katie Maloney's new boyfriend say he left them 'traumatized'

Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney has been through a lot in her relationships, with fans having witnessed her marriage to fellow VPR star Tom Schwartz's marriage break down over the years on the show before they finally announced their divorce in 2022. Now that she's moved on with a musician who she called a "good guy," fans were hopeful that things had turned around for her.

Unfortunately, it looks like Katie Maloney's luck in love may not have turned around after all -- multiple of her new beau's exes have come out with allegations about their own "painful" relationships with him, calling him a "liar" and "cheater" who left them "traumatized."

Considering the fact that Vanderpump Rules had a whole episode focused on Tom Schwartz allegedly being unfaithful in his relationship with Katie Maloney, this would definitely be a major disappointment.

Katie Maloney's boyfriend has quite a spotty past: one ex accused him of hiding his wife

Long-time fan of Sleeping With Sirens, the band Katie Maloney's new boyfriend Nick Martin is in, Bruna Unsworth said that she began dating the musician after she went to see them in concert and he had a flirty vibe with her from the stage throughout much of the concert.

Things escalated from there between the two of them and eventually, they had started up a relationship. She told The U.S. Sun that the pair texted and exchanged photos and updates on their lives on a daily basis, "He used to really open up to me, talk about his struggles, he used to say he never opened up like this to anyone and made me feel very special."

She said that in 2023, the two of them made plans to meet up while he was on tour and while in a hotel room together, he revealed a secret that he had been keeping from her while their relationship was building up: he was married.

"He then said he was married, as he was on top of me in bed, and said he had a really bad relationship with his wife though and he didn't want to carry on married, they were going to get a divorce," Bruna told The U.S. Sun and said that his story was "convincing" in making him sound like a "victim" of a bad relationship that he claimed he was in the process of ending, so the pair kept in touch until one day, he "ghosted" her and Bruna made the decision to reach out to his wife.

She stopped speaking to him in February of 2024 when she reached out to his wife about the relationship that the two of them had been having behind her back and Bruna told The U.S. Sun that she doesn't want Katie Maloney to go through the same heartache she did.

According to the publication, Nick's wife filed for divorce shortly after Bruna's relationship with him ended, but she still hopes that Katie Maloney takes her warning to heart. She said, "[Katie] seems like a strong, empowered woman. I'm sure she'll know what to do, she just needs to trust her gut ... Even if she doesn’t see it now, time will show his true colors but I really hope that she listens to the warnings about him at this early stage, to save her from the heartache and damage in the future. It's just not worth it.

A second ex claims Katie's relationship with Nick overlaps with her own

A second ex, Danielle, alleges that she had been friends with Nick for several years, but he had cut a lot of his friends out of his life when he got married.

Around the time of his divorce, Danielle says that Nick had followed her again and began liking her pictures, which rekindled their friendship and eventually lead to a relationship that they started in July 2024.

The two began planning for future trips together and Danielle said that whenever Nick would talk about Katie Maloney, he would claim the two of them were just friends and for a while, Danielle believed him and thought she had no reason to be insecure about their relationship. One day, Danielle says Nick ghosted on her for several days after planning to visit and Danielle realized that he had been on a trip with Katie during his unexpected absence.

Danielle says this made her begin piecing together other suspicious events in their relationship and she eventually decided to break things off with him after realizing that he had allegedly been dating Katie Maloney behind her back.

A third ex says she wishes she had "asked for more proof"

A third ex of Nick Martin, Brandy Robidoux, says that she began dating him in March when he claimed his divorce was close to being finalized, but that she wishes that she had "asked for more proof" of his divorce because she found out later that he's currently still in the process of getting divorced.

Brandy says that she's been sent messages by a number of fans and women that Nick Martin has had relationships with and that she's planning a "girls' trip" with a number of them so they can heal and move past their painful breakups with the musician.

"It’s also one thing to do this to an industry executive in their 30s, but the fan aspect really bothers me. There’s plenty of people in the world, bands really don’t have to sleep with fans," Brandy Robidoux, whose Instagram account says she's a Senior Marketing Manager at Hopeless Records, told The U.S. Sun.

Katie Maloney's friends are allegedly worried too

An insider told the publication that Katie Maloney and Nick Martin bonded over their similar music taste, but that they have expressed their concerns to the reality TV star about her new boyfriend.

According to the insider, the fact that her new boyfriend is a rockstar that tours the world with his band definitely has her friends concerned about how his lifestyle might impact his relationship with Katie. Plus, these allegations about how he's treated his exes make her friends worry that he might be another Tom Schwartz.

'They love Katie and they just want to make sure Katie isn’t dating a Schwartz 2.0. Everyone knows she deserves so much better than that," the insider told The U.S. Sun.
