Celebrity Big Brother returns for its 24th season in the UK. Returning to ITV for its second series, the show mixes the rich and famous from the world of reality TV, soaps, sport and film and puts them in a house together.

Mickey Rourke - Actor

Mickey Rourke is a successful Hollywood actor and professional boxer. He was Oscar nominated for his role in The Wrestler and has starred in a string of hits including 9 1/2 Weeks, Angel Heart and Rumble Fish.
After his successful comeback in The Wrestler, which saw critical praise and awards nominations, he appeared in Iron Man 2, The Expendables and Immortals. In recent years he has primary gone on to appear in direct-to-video productions and independent films.
Chesney Hawkes - Singer

Chesney Hawkes is an English singer best known for the one hit wonder "One and Only." He had a few other minor hits in the UK and Europe but only one song bothered the American charts.
Jojo Siwa - Singer

Jojo Siwa shot to fame after appearing on Dance Moms in 2015. The 21 year-old has since appeared in TV shows and released songs. You may have seen her live performances for songs like "Karma" on your FYP, as they have gone viral for being extremely energetic.
Since coming out, Jojo has become an advocate for the LBGTQ+ community.
Chris Hughes - Love Island

Chris Hughes found fame after appearing in Love Island in 2017. He reached the finale and finished in third place. Since appearing on the reality show he has played football, embarked on a failed music career alongside Kem Cetinay and has hosted various TV shows.
Now, Hughes is best known for covering horse racing for ITV. He also previously dated Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
Danny Beard - RuPaul's Drag Race UK

Danny Beard is a drag performer who won the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. They also reached the semi-finals of season 10 of Britain’s Got Talent. Since winning the reality show, she performs across the UK, singing and entertaining audiences.
Trisha Goddard - TV Presenter

Trisha Goddard is an English broadcaster who has hosted numerous chat shows throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2010, she was a conflict resolution expert on the American talk show Maury. In 2012, she hosted an American version of her eponymous talk show, which saw comparisons to The Jerry Springer Show.
During the Celebrity Big Brother launch show she discussed having stage 4 breast cancer and told the live crowd, “We can’t become so scared of dying, that we are scared of living."
Patsy Palmer - Actress

Patsy Palmer is best known for her role as Bianca in British soap opera Eastenders. She appeared on and off the soap since her first appearance in 1993. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles to become a professional DJ.
Michael Fabricant - Politician

Michael Fabricant is best known as being a former Conservative Party MP for more than 30 years. He was first elected into parliament in 1992, but lost his seat in last year’s general election. The controversial politician was booed after entering the CBB house after his political party came under fire for their behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Over his years in parliament, Michael has been involved in numerous spats and gaffes. He was criticised numerous times for his social media comments, including claims of islamophobia, and insulting a teenager online.

Angellica Bell has been a TV presenter since 2000. She started her career on British children’s television before moving on to adult non-fiction TV and radio. She is best known for recently co-hosting The Martin Lewis Money Show and won Celebrity MasterChef.
Jack P. Shepherd - Soap Opera

Jack P. Shepherd has played the role of David Platt on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street since 2000. Outside of his role on the English soap, he has performed in theatre and appeared on reality TV shows.
Daley Thompson - Athlete

Daley Thompson is a decathlete who won the decathlon gold medal at the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984.
He broke the world record for the event four times. The 66-year-old also holds four world records, three Commonwealth titles and wins in the World and European Championships.
Donna Preston - Actress

Donna Preston is a comedian, writer and actor. Her most high profile role was playing Despair in the Netflix adaptation of The Sandman. She reprised this role in Dead Boy Detectives. Her other minor roles include parts in The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Holmes & Watson and Grimsby.
Ella Wise - Reality TV star
