Anderson Cooper has been hosting CNN's annual New Year's Eve special since 2002 and has been joined by Bravo producer and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen since 2017. Although their annual antics have become some fans' favorite part of the holiday season, Anderson Cooper has to admit that there's one thing that he finds annoying about hosting the special alongside the reality TV host.

Anderson Cooper says the morning after the show is the most "annoying" thing about filming with Andy Cohen

Bravo fans will already know that Andy Cohen isn't one to hold back on his thoughts about anything and anyone that crosses his mind, but that isn't always as fun to deal with as it is for fans of the Bravo shows that Andy produces and hosts the reunion specials for.

While Anderson Cooper was appearing on Andy Cohen's late night talkshow, Watch What Happens Live, he said that the morning after their New Year's Eve special is the most annoying thing about hosting with him, which Andy Cohen said is a perfectly fair answer.

When asked by a viewer what annoys him about his co-host, Anderson Cooper said, "Just who he’s going to insult, and like what the cleanup on aisle three is going to be in the morning."

Considering the fact that Andy Cohen has previously used their celebration to criticize the mayor of New York City and mocked people who chose to watch Ryan Seacrest hosting New Year's Rockin' Eve instead of his show with Anderson Cooper, among other eye-catching moments, it's not a surprise that Anderson Cooper said he worries about the "cleanup" the next morning.

Anderson Cooper complimented Andy Cohen's work ethic: "He makes it look easy"

In a recent interview with Vulture, Anderson Cooper complimented the fact that Andy Cohen works so hard, proving that even though he worries about the morning after Andy Cohen might say something shocking, it's totally worth it for this annual TV special.

Anderson Cooper complimented his co-host's work ethic and said that he is "responsible for" so much more TV content than other TV hosts. Andy Cohen hosts Watch What Happens Live, a number of Bravo reunion specials, and is one of the producers of many Bravo reality series, meaning that he's a seriously busy man all year round.

"Every day when I turn on my phone, I see content that Andy Cohen is responsible for. Much more so than any late-night host. He makes it look easy. But he is paddling really, really fast under the water," Anderson Cooper said of his New Year's Eve co-host.
