Several actresses have joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills over the years. Denise Richards, Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, and Garcelle Beauvais are just some of the actors who have held diamonds and will likely not be the last. Even stalwarts Kyle and Kim Richards started their careers as child actors.
Over the years, other actresses have admitted to being offered housewife roles on the popular Bravo franchise. Not everyone is interested in reality TV stardom while some stars have auditioned but failed to make the cut.
Christina Applegate

Dead to Me actress and Bravo superfan Christina Applegate admitted to turning down a diamond over a decade ago. She told her MeSsy podcast co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler that she became good friends with the show’s executive as their kids went to school together.
“He’s like, ‘Oh, yeah, we asked you.’ I said, ‘Chris, now that you know me, would I have been a fun housewife?’ He’s like, ‘No, it would’ve been the most boring s*** I’ve ever seen in my life.'”
" What fun is that? No, none of that. No. I would be the worst housewife anyway."
The actress admitted herself that she would be too boring to join the franchise as she “wouldn’t have shown up to any dinners.”
Ali Landry

The Repli-Kate actress and former Miss USA told Jeff Lewis that she has spoken to producers “three or four different times.”
"They said, of course they would let [me] know. … We'll see. I’m surrendering to the whole experience, no plans no expectations," Ali Landry said of the possibility.
Although Ali is good friends with both Garcelle and Kyle, she admitted she wasn’t sure if joining the show would be a good idea for her. "In my heart, I honestly don't know. I don't know if it's for me," she explained.
Jennie Garth

The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress revealed during a 2019 appearance on Watch What Happens Live that she was offered a role on RHOBH “two years” earlier.
Although she had her own reality TV show, she said on a May 18, 2022 interview on the Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast, that becoming a housewife was of no interest.
" That’s one thing I know for sure I would never do just because, no offense to anybody that does it, it’s just not me. It’s not, I’m not comfortable in that environment. And why would I put myself in that environment?"
Jana Kramer

The One Tree Hill actress claimed she and husband Mike Caussin “auditioned” for RHOBH during the pandemic in 2020.
“I’m like, ‘All right, well, we’re not doing anything else. We might as well entertain it.’ But we haven’t heard anything. So I’m like, ‘Maybe we were just boring people.’ I don’t know,” the former Dancing With The Stars contestant revealed in July 2020. “I’d be so afraid we’d be just be eaten alive, spit out and then canceled the next day.”
When chatting on her Whine Down podcast, she explained that she was worried she wouldn’t be popular on reality TV due to her sarcastic attitude.
“I wouldn’t want to filter myself too much … I have a hard time with criticism and I don’t know how I could handle that. I would be so afraid that we’d be eaten alive and spit out and then, like, canceled the next day.”
Tori Spelling

While Tori Spelling has frequently been rumored to join RHOBH, the actress and reality star has admitted Andy Cohen has yet to ask. She asked the producer and WWHL host, but he admitted she was not right for the franchise.
"What I really want to say to him, and I'm a little passive aggressive, so I'm like, 'Huh! All the fans ask, Andy, so I don't know, whatever, that's fine. What I wanted to say is, 'Uh, is it 'cause I'm broke? Let's be real.'"
