Cameran Eubanks was the narrator and one of the central stars in the first season of Southern Charm. She shockingly left the Bravo show after season 6 and quit reality TV.

Cameran first found fame on The Real World: San Diego in 2004 and appeared on the Southern Charm premiere in March 2014. Since then, Cameran has focused on her family. She has a daughter, Palmer, whom she shares with her husband, Dr. Jason Wimberly.

She admitted her experience on reality TV changed after she had her daughter. She explained that she no longer felt that she fitted into the show, and the experience felt forced. "I don't want to be on reality TV and feel like I have to act or feel like I have to be a certain way to fit in."

"My mantra with social media if you are on a reality show: You don't like the heat? Get out of the kitchen. Well, get out of the kitchen is exactly what I did after season six," she wrote in her biography, One Day You'll Thank Me.

"At that point, I had a child and since becoming a mother, my priorities had changed. I also felt like I was at a different place in my life. It was time to move on."

She felt season six took a “dark turn” amid rumors about her husband’s infidelity.

Since leaving Southern Charm, Cameran has continued working as a real estate agent as well as being a mother and social media influencer.

Cameran and her husband, Jason, welcomed their daughter in November 2017. Shortly after giving birth, Cameran revealed on Instagram that she was struggling with postpartum hair loss.

The former reality star also works as an influencer, updating her 1.3 million followers on her and her family’s lives. Her Instagram is full of recipes, photos of her family, and updates on her work. She recently collaborated with children’s clothing brand Cecil and Lou.

She still keeps in touch with her former castmates, occasionally posting their reunions on her social media pages. In 2023, Shep told  The Daily Dish he was still in contact with Cameran, whom he knew before their Bravo days. She even sold him his home!

“Cameran — we text, we sometimes call each other,” Shep explained. “I owe her a phone call ‘cause I have to ask her a question. She’s my little Yoda sometimes.”

Cameran told Decider that she had maintained her relationship with Leva Bonaparte since leaving the show. While she supported Leva for appearing on Southern Charm, she admitted she had some boundaries in place.

“I think it’s great. I think you’re going to be great on it. But I don’t want to hear about it. I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t call me complaining about it, and she respected that.”

Southern Charm airs on Bravo at 9 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Peacock the following day.
