Is a Sister Wives spin-off series in the works? TLC hasn't announced anything just yet, but a lot of fans of the reality series think that some of the videos the network has uploaded recently are their way of testing the waters to find out what - and who - viewers might want a spin-off series focused on.
It's no secret to Sister Wives watchers that it's beginning to seem like the show has run its course. Kody is divorced from all but one of his wives and his ex-wives and fans alike seem to be growing tired of the constant back-and-forth with Kody and Robyn on one side and the three ex-wives on the other as they re-hash the same issues with each other episode after episode.
TLC is no stranger to coming up with a spin-off once they feel a show has run its course, Counting On came as a spin-off from the Duggar family's original series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was a spin-off of Toddlers & Tiaras, and 90 Day Fiance fhas spawned its own universe of spin-offs.
With Christine happily moved on with David Wooley, many fans think that it won't be long before TLC announces a spin-off focused entirely on Christine and David and have cited the fact that they already made so many episodes of Cooking With Just Christine as proof. Were those videos for TLC to see if Christine could bring in an audience without Kody drama?
While a show that focuses on Christine's new life with David seems to be the most likely spin-off, there are fans that think TLC might choose to focus on more than just one of the ex-wives and find a way to make the Sister Wives spin-off about more than just her life after Kody.
Entertainment Tonight uploaded a special video of Christine and fellow ex-wife Janelle where they were featured in an ET special serires called Spilling the E-Tea. Even though this wasn't uploaded on any of TLC's platforms, there are some fans online that believe this could be a sign that the network is testing out the fan response to seeing them together outside of Sister Wives.
Whether TLC chooses to focus on Christine's new life with David or they decide to go a different route and focus on two of the ex-wives, it's a safe guess that they'll eventually choose to keep fans watching by making a spin-off about someone from the cast. With the way most fans seem to agree that Kody and Robyn's time in the spotlight has run dry, it definitely seems like the spin-off will focus on at least one if not more of the ex-wives.
