While Stephen McGee initially meshed with the original Summer House group, forming tight bonds with Lauren and Ashley Wirkus along with Carl Radke, his journey on the show wasn't without its ups and downs.

Particularly notable was his falling out with Carl, which stemmed from Stephen revealing a secret on air that Carl had shared in confidence. This move, while adding to the show's drama, certainly ruffled feathers and marked a pivotal moment in Stephen's storyline.

After his departure from the show, Bravo fans have been curious about his next steps.

Post-Summer House, Stephen redirected his career towards event planning. His professional life took a significant turn as he joined Marcy Blum Events in 2017, where he serves as an event director.

Beyond his full-time role, Stephen has been freelancing since 2010, organizing a variety of events from product launches to weddings, often collaborating with notable figures in the event planning industry.

His career reflects a blend of creativity and meticulous planning, showcasing his ability to reinvent himself after reality TV.

In his life outside of event planning, Stephen has cultivated a presence as a social media influencer following his days on Summer House. Though he isn't the most active user, his Instagram account @stephenmcgee shows glimpses of his luxurious lifestyle, including travel to exotic locations like St. Barts.

His posts, sporadic yet engaging, often feature sponsored content, indicating his influence in the digital space. Despite a period of relative quiet on social media, he reemerged in the summer of 2022, sharing updates that include both his personal achievements and everyday adventures.

One significant personal milestone for Stephen was achieving a year of sobriety in September 2020. This was a journey he shared with his followers in a heartfelt Facebook post about watching the sunrise in Montauk.

However, his sobriety status became unclear after he posted a photo with an alcoholic drink in February. Despite this, Stephen's focus appears to be on his health and happiness, values he openly cherishes.

Stephen remains connected to his former Summer House co-stars, particularly Lauren and Ashley. He has also extended his reality TV friendships to include Vanderpump Rules alumni like Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, even attending their Kentucky wedding in 2019.

Recently, he revealed his first tattoo and continued to mingle with celebrities, hinting at a life filled with exciting events and connections.

As for a potential return to television, Stephen teased fans with the possibility, responding playfully to a fan's comment about his return with, "hehe you never know."

Whether or not Stephen will reappear on our screens, his journey from a reality TV persona to a successful event planner and social influencer underscores his multifaceted career and personal growth.
