The Bachelorette reportedly trying to fake out Bachelor Nation according to Reality Steve
The anticipation has been building ever since Jenn Tran was revealed as the new Bachelorette. What makes her season distinct is that it reportedly concludes in a manner unprecedented in the history of the franchise.
Jenn, a 24-year-old studying to become a Physician Assistant, made her debut as the Bachelorette during the climactic "After the Final Rose" segment of The Bachelor's 28th season.
Having previously competed for Joey Graziadei's heart in the same season, Jenn's quest ended in week seven. Yet, she made a stunning comeback as the lead in season 21.
Rumors swirled that in the season finale, Jenn accepted a proposal from Devin Strader, a 28-year-old owner of a freight company from Rosenberg, Texas.
The final scene was reportedly set against the picturesque backdrop of a coastal estate in Hawaii. Jenn chose a classic white dress for the occasion, while Devin complemented her in a white suit paired with a black tie.
Reality Steve confirmed these details after he managed to get a sneak peek at some revealing photos.
Unraveling Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette finale
In an unexpected twist during the season's cold open, viewers watched as Jenn turned away her suitor at the Final Rose Ceremony.
In the clip, Jenn told him: "I can't let you propose to me."
This scene led many to believe that Jenn might have left alone. However, Reality Steve clarified that this was a deliberate misdirect, mirroring a similar tactic used in Joey Graziadei's season. He confirmed that Jenn and Devin did indeed get engaged.
Adding to the intrigue, Jenn shared with Kaitlyn Bristowe, a former Bachelorette from season 11, that the finale of her season would be unlike anything previously seen on the show.
"I think I’m also being told that the ending of my season is also something that has never happened before," Jenn revealed.
Speculation among fans suggests that Jenn might have taken the groundbreaking step of proposing to Devin herself, possibly explaining her statement about not allowing him to propose.
Reality Steve, however, cast doubt on this theory and suggested instead that Jenn's comment was a prelude to her wanting to offer Devin the final rose herself.
"What I do know is in that opening scene Monday where she’s telling Devin ‘I can’t let you propose to me,’ there isn’t an ounce of sadness in her face or a tear in her eye. It’s almost like she’s about to follow it up with, ‘…because I want to choose you,’ or ‘…until I give you the final rose,’” he noted.
Episodes of The Bachelorette air Monday nights on ABC.
