The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei wants to make it very clear he is ‘not broke’
The Bachelor star, Joey Graziadei, discussed his current domestic arrangement during an appearance on the Trading Secrets podcast hosted by Jason Tartick.
At that time, he revealed that his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, wasn't ready to disrupt her life immediately after their engagement on the show. Previously living with his sister, Joey accepted Kelsey's invitation to move in with her instead. During the conversation, Kelsey emphasized her commitment to her job and her life's continuity post-engagement.
"I was still working and so I was like, ‘I gotta go back to my life. I’m not quitting my job,’" she stated.
She then explained her decision to invite Joey into her living situation: "He was just living with his sister, so I was like, ‘You can move in with me.’”
Joey also shared a personal financial hiccup — a significant drop in his credit score from 730 to 650 — which complicated his efforts to find his own place after returning from the show.
"I went on a TV show and I come back and my credit score bombed," he recounted. "I was like, ‘I can’t even get into an apartment building. Jesus Christ.’”
Bachelor star Joey Graziadei sets the record straight on his finances
Addressing speculations about his financial health, Joey took to his Instagram Stories to clear the air.
With a promotional video for Credit Karma, he firmly dismissed any notions of financial instability.
"Let me set the record straight. I’m not broke, I’m doing just fine," he assured in the video.
He elaborated on his living arrangements: "But I am temporarily living with Kelsey and her roommates as a choice to be able to spend as much time as possible with her as she finishes out her lease.”
Joey also admitted that his credit score suffered a setback due to a missed payment while he was filming The Bachelor. However, he has since worked to rectify this, proudly stating: "But since that time, I’ve been able to raise my credit score."
During the podcast, Joey and Kelsey managed to find humor in their unusual living setup.
Joey quipped: "I’m on a comedy sketch right now. I feel like I’m full-on in a New Girl situation," referring to the popular Fox sitcom where the main character shares a home with three male roommates.
Joey appeared as the star on season 28 of The Bachelor, which is available to binge on Hulu.
