Summer House Season 9: Everything we know so far

As we edge closer to the ninth season of Summer House, anticipation is building around what's next for this ever-evolving cast. Following a drama-packed eighth season that centered on Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard's turbulent run-up to their ultimately canceled fall 2023 wedding, fans are eager for more escapades in the Hamptons.

The previous season not only focused on Carl and Lindsay but also highlighted the dynamics among other mainstays like married duo Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, as well as Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, and Gabby Prescod. 

Newcomers West Wilson and Jesse Solomon, the sole single men in the group last season, brought fresh energy to the mix. Despite the conflicts, Jesse shared with Us Magazine a hopeful outlook for the upcoming gatherings.

“I think people are reasonable and there’s levels of friendship. There’s best friends and there’s acquaintances,” Jesse stated. 

Bravo confirmed in May 2024 that the show is set to return for another summer of fun and drama. And, just like normal, filming began over the Fourth of July.

Casting changes and expectations for Season 9 of Summer House

A significant change this season of Summer House comes with Danielle Olivera's decision to step back from her full-time role. In June, she expressed her need to focus more on personal commitments.

“If I can’t put 100 percent of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity," she stated.

She also emphasized her intention to prioritize her company, her relationships, and her own wellbeing.

Nevertheless, the rest of the season 8 cast, including Kyle, Amanda, Paige, Ciara, and Gabby, are set to return. Notably, exes Carl and Lindsay are also making a comeback, setting the stage for potentially more intriguing interactions. 

There will also reportedly be two newbies, a model with some nepo baby exes, Lexi Wood, and an influencer named Bailee Henderson.

West shared in June on The Viall Files podcast his approach to the upcoming season, particularly regarding his dynamics with Ciara, stating: “I’m going to be myself, and however that interaction goes, I will be respectful."

Jesse, too, hinted at his return during a June episode of the Trading Secrets podcast, saying: “I’m very hopeful that I will be in the Hamptons." 

Confirmations in July 2024 reassured that both Jesse and West would indeed be part of the season 9 cast. While the premiere date remains unannounced, the setup for season 9 promises more of the explosive drama and intricate relationships that fans of Summer House have come to expect.
