The news of Lindsay Hubbard’s pregnancy sent ripples through the Summer House community, not least of which reached her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke.

Carl's take on Lindsay’s future, shared months before the announcement, stunned fellow cast member Kyle Cooke. During a candid conversation post-breakup in August 2023, Carl had speculated that Lindsay would not only find a new relationship but also expect a child by the following summer.

“He actually told me last fall, 'I bet she’s pregnant by the time of the summer,'" Kyle revealed to Page Six. Kyle added, reflecting on his initial skepticism: "He’s like, ‘I bet she has a boyfriend by the reunion, and she’s pregnant by the summer.’ And I’m like, ‘Come on buddy.’ And I don’t know what kinda crystal ball he had."

When Lindsay’s pregnancy was publicly announced just as Carl predicted, it underscored his deep understanding of his ex's desires and life goals.

Carl's reaction to the pregnancy news was notably supportive and positive. According to Kyle, Carl immediately expressed genuine happiness for Lindsay.

"His immediate reaction was like, ‘I’m genuinely happy for her. That’s what she’s wanted,'" Kyle shared. This mature and heartfelt response highlighted Carl's respect and goodwill towards Lindsay, despite their past romantic fallout.

The newfound warmth between Carl and Lindsay marks a hopeful turn in their relationship. Kyle noted the positive change, stating: "Just to see them chatting it up is gonna be good for everybody, because ultimately, there was a really long friendship under there, and I hope that at the very least, they can be amicable and maybe by the end of the summer –– they’re not gonna be besties –– but I’d like to think they can both kinda admit to one another like, ‘Yeah, this is for the best.'"

This evolution from a turbulent engagement to a friendly rapport is a testament to their growth and mutual respect.

Kyle himself expressed overwhelming joy for Lindsay’s new chapter as a mother-to-be. He reflected on their dynamic, emphasizing the underlying affection they share.

"I know we have a history of love and hate and brotherly sisterly love, but I think the key word there is love. Like, I have known that she’s wanted to be a mom practically since I’ve known her," he said, noting the positive changes in Lindsay’s demeanor since the announcement.

As personal developments unfold, Kyle is also advancing his own passions, integrating his love for music with his professional pursuits by hosting dynamic DJ events tied to his brand, Loverboy. Despite some skepticism about his DJ ambitions, Kyle remains focused on delivering entertaining experiences that resonate with his audience.

Season 9 of Summer House is expected to kick off in early 2025 on Bravo.
