Golden Bachelor fan-favorite knows exactly who she wants to date next – Kelsey Anderson’s dad!

On the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Kathy Swarts shared an intriguing moment from the season finale, where Susan took a bold step to get closer to Mark. 

Kathy described the scene, saying: “When we met him at your finale, of course, Susan elbowed her way in to see if she could maybe date the guy."

Susan, who is 67, revealed that her interaction with Mark didn’t just start there; they had been in contact much earlier. 

“We were emailing long before that," she disclosed. 

Both Kathy and Susan praised Mark’s personality, with Susan adding, "Great guy." This budding connection has gained the support of Kelsey’s siblings, who were initially hesitant but now endorse their father’s search for companionship. 

Kelsey expressed her support too, noting her father’s lifelong devotion to their family. 

“I feel like my dad gave all of us so much love growing up and he still does. I just feel like my dad deserves love as well," she noted.

Kelsey’s late mother had also encouraged Mark to open his heart to love again after she was gone.

Despite Mark’s reserved approach to dating after his wife Denise Anderson passed away in 2018, he never hesitated to encourage Kelsey. 

She remembered a poignant conversation with her fiancé, Joey Graziadei, in Spain, where Mark’s words reassured her about following in her mother’s footsteps. 

“You’re your mother’s child. You’re so brave… That’s something your mom would do," he said. 

Kelsey’s dad hasn’t said if he’s interested in dating Susan, but it’s pretty clear that fans love the idea of them getting together.
