Reign Disick, third child of Kourtney Kardashian and her youngest child with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, just responded to the most bizarre rumor about his parents.
Reign Disick was born in 2014, shortly before his parents called it quits on their tumultuous relationship, and is the third child that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick welcomed into the world together.
The two broke up in 2015 and a year later, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted getting cozy with Justin Bieber with sources close to the two of them even confirming that they had been casually seeing each other for "months."
Despite the fact that the earliest the two of them could have been seeing each other according to these rumors was a year after Reign Disick was born, rumors have been swirling around the internet that the "Baby" singer is the real father of this young reality star.
Reign Disick says Justin Bieber is definitely not his dad
Now, on an Instagram livestream with his step-sister, Alabama Barker, and her boyfriend, Scooter Jackson, Reign Disick has taken a moment to clear the air on whether or not the pop star could be his real dad.
"No, he's not. Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber is not my dad. Scotty... Scotty... Scotty is my dad," the 10 year-old child of the reality TV star and Lemme gummy vitamin brand owner said in the livestream. He went on to say that there's no way that his mom, Kourtney Kardashian, would have been hooking up with Justin Bieber around the time of his birth anyway, making the rumors another level of ridiculous.
"I don't know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. I don't think my mom would do that," Reign Disick said in the livestream.
When Kourtney Kardashian was apparently "hooking up" with Justin Bieber, he was 22 and the reality TV star was 36, which means that the pop singer would have been around 20 at the time of Reign Disick's birth two years prior. But, since Justin Bieber has been a pop superstar since he was a teenager, it's easy to see why Reign Disick might have gotten confused about how old Justin Bieber would have been when he was born.
A photographer from X17 asked his mom the same question while she was spotted out with beau and father of her fourth child, Travis Barker, but she wasn't as quick to shoot the rumor down as her son was, likely because Kourtney Kardashian is no stranger to ridiculous reality TV rumors and paparazzi gossip.
As fun and lighthearted as this rumor is, the fact that a 10 year-old responded to online gossip about his father's paternity in regards to hookup rumors about his mother is definitely a concerning look at how far harmless celebrity gossip can go. As much fun as it is to gossip and spread rumors about reality TV stars, seeing a child responding to these rumors because he's a side effect of his parents' public breakup and subsequent moving on is undobutedly shocking to witness.
