Who is Erica Mena?

Erica Mena is an actress and video vixen who rose to fame in music videos like 50 Cent's "Candy Shop" as well as appearing on the Atlanta and New York installments of Love & Hip Hop from 2011 through 2023.

Her long run on the Love & Hip Hop franchise came to an end when she was fired from the show after allegedly using a racial slur against one of her co-stars, Ice. It was reported that Erica Mena had repeatedly referred to Spice, the stage name of legendary dancehall singer Grace Hamilton, as a "monkey" and taunted her by calling her a "blue monkey" while recording an episode of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Erica Mena later apologized for her comments and claimed that there was no racist intent behind her words and said that she regretted the "insensitive comment" and "thoughtlessness" of her actions. In the statement, she said, "As a woman of color and the mother of two black children, I want to make it clear that my use of that word was not in any way racially driven. That said, I do understand the gravity of what I said and want to use my platform to promote inclusivity and equality."

A year after Erica Mena was fired from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Zeus Network announced she had been picked up for her own dating show and the filming on Two Ways with Erica Mena in August 2024.

New episodes of Two Ways with Erica Mena are released every Sunday on Zeus Network.
