Former stars of MTV's The Hills Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt shared on their social media accounts that their Los Angeles home was one of the structures destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire.

TMZ reported that Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, and their two children were safely able to evacuate the celebrity-filled Los Angeles neighborhood prior to the wildfire reaching their home, so the family was safe but their home was tragically burnt to the ground in the wildfire in early January 2025.

It's reported that over 100,000 people have been forced to evacuate their homes amid the wildfire's spread, including a number of celebrities who live in the same neighborhood as The Hills alum Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.

On his Snapchat story, Spencer Pratt shared that he was watching on their security cameras as the wildfire reached their home and their house burned down. He went on to share a still from his security camera footage showing that in their childrens' bedroom, one of their son's bed showed a heart in their bedding amid the ashes and burnt furniture.

"A sign of how much love was in this house," Spencer Pratt wrote in the caption and said that he was thankful for the time they lived in their home and for the memories they made together as a family in the house. On her own social media accounts, Heidi Montag shared that she felt lucky that they had been able to evacuate safely and that though their house burnt down, their safety was the most important part.

Spencer Pratt's sister, Stephanie Pratt, shared on her own Instagram account that while she is currently out of the country, she has been watching the tragic destruction in Los Angeles as so many people are forced out of their homes and so many structures are burnt down.

On her Instagram story, Stephanie Pratt said that first responders attempted to save her brother and sister-in-law's house, but the wind was too strong for the firefighters to keep up and sadly, the house couldn't be saved.

Other reality stars that have shared that their homes have been destroyed in the fire include Paris Hilton who shared that her Malibu home being burnt to the ground was featured on the news; talk show host and daughter of Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, who called into CNN to share that she lost her home; Food Network host Sandra Lee; and a number of other celebrities.
